Your note about the correct county for this grave is correct, but I don't seem to be able to correct it on my entry, # findagrave #146026005. If you can, would you change it to Howard County. I will be going to New Franklin in June and photographing tombstones of family members and putting them in findagrave, and hopefully will remember that Boonville and NF are in different counties. We always just drove across the river and never paid any attention to that fact. Thanks for calling my attention to this error.

I am a member of Perche Baptist Church, Clark, MO, and doing history research on the church for an upcoming fall celebration. I am trying to get a picture of all our pastors. I believe Mr. Wright was our pastor in 1893. Is there any way you could verify that or do you have a picture of him. Maybe suggest someone to talk to? Thank you for your time.
Found them took some digging and a lot of sweet talking to the funeral home but we found them. The last name is actually spelled in their records and on the tombstone is FISCHER.
|Pat Shaw||Mary Elizabeth Hayward Sternberger (1863 - 1958)*|
hi Tom queation pls Mary Elizabeth Hayward Sternberger (1863 - 1958)* linked as wife of Eli M Wheeler who to my knowledge was never married.. And if you have a record of that would love to know about it. Only time would be after 1800 to his death 1887.
I find no marriage for him and always shows up single in census records, plus he was in the Civil War and have found no record of a wife's pension.
One more question Eli M Wheeler is son of James and Emily Morris Wheeler and had a brother Drury Wheeler. In 1880 census he lived with his COUSIN who I thought was his brother Drury N Wheeler......question pls where is Elis brother Drury Wheeler as it seems Drury N Wheeler married to Frances Long is a cousin and who is the cousins parents?
Lots of thanks if you can tell me!

|Celedon||#68284819 Betty Lou Herndon McGavrock|
Betty Lou's parents are John Gregory Herndon and Lucy Mitchell Strange Herndon, who happen to be my great great grandparents and who are also buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. She was a sister to John Henry Herndon, also buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Betty Lou served as one of Missouri's national delegates to the Republican National Convention in 1944.
Any chance I could get this listing transferred to me, since she is family to me?

4-8-1910, page 7 in the Chariton Courier Newspaper has a short note under Howard County news about this little boys death. It reads, "Webster, little son of John D. Blackwell of Fayette, died of appendicitis in a St. Louis hospital Thursday." I am not related, just reading this paper gathering more info on my own family. The Chariton Courier is available online on the Library Of Congress site "Chronicling America" Historic American Newspapers.
|Judy Ball Leach||Obituary|
Do you want obituaries put on your memorials? I have one for S A Allen. If you want a copy or want me to type it in for you I will. Thanks for taking pictures and adding memorials. My grandparents had a funeral home and grandma cut out many obituaries. I have a notebook full of them, lot of history.
