Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in the history of my ancestors & my husband's ancestors for many years and have visited many of their graves over the years. I enjoy doing research on family members as well as others. It makes me realize how short life really is and how we should leave a positive footprint here. But most of all, how important it is to be prepared to pass from his life in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

I also love my town of Kirksville, Missouri, and enjoy studying its history and the people who made its history. I feel privileged to be a member of the board called Friends of Forest-Llewelln Cemetery in Kirksville, and also a board member of the Adair County, Missouri, Historical Society.

Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to Ancestry.com or any other ancestral sites you wish as long as it is out of respect for the person represented. I hope you find some of your relatives!

I am happy to make any additions or corrections to memorials; just use the Edit tab and I will make the changes as soon as possible.

George W Still
Hello,

I am curious why you created a duplicate memorial for George W Still #53807721 when there was one already created in 2007 #23643931, and why you didn't work with that person on their memorial to make theirs right? Duplicates are hard to work with when someone is trying to get their families grave sites correct. I am a descendant of Still's and this is troubling. I read thru the bio on your George and I just don't understand why all that was added when you could have easily added the correct information to the original one and asked for a transfer.

Thank you,

Rob Blew descendant of Eulah Belle Still Blew.

Thank you for posting the news article about Willis and Virginia Bray celebrating their 50th anniversary and for giving permission for relatives to re-post it. Virginia is my first cousin twice removed.

RE: D.Chadwick
I don't think so. As far as I know they would have to recieve a check to cover copying cost. You can call the library at 660-332-4945 or go on their website: LaPlataLibrary@cableone.net

The have all the obits from 1900 to the present but the earlier ones (1900-1965) are just typed up copies instead of copies of the actual newspapers.

I see you have a few pictures taken in the cemetery and wonder if I could get you to take about 3 more for me as I asked for them back in 2013 but have not had any luck getting them.

Newspaper clippings
Thought you might want to know scans of newspaper clippings and obits are prohibited under the "General Rules" section of
this FAQ.
