Bio and Links
Bio Photo Working on photographing gravestones that have not been previously recorded in about two dozen central and northwest Iowa cemeteries. If you find a memorial I've created that does not include a photo, I probably have it and will get it posted eventually unless it includes the name of a living spouse.
I process corrections submitted through the edit tab several times a week and my memorials include large amounts of data submitted by others. I try to include the FindAGrave contributor source in material provided for the biography.
If you would like transfers, I am happy to do that unless I'm more closely related than you are. If you have better photos than mine, I am willing to remove mine. Please send your requests through the Edit tab on the memorial page.

I see you have added his name to the list. I forgot to do that myself. I had his wife there but not him.

I have updated his birth and death ... I am a relative of Grace, his wife. I hope you will approve of these changes. I also added the tombstone pictures I took a few years back. Thanks Randy

As mentioned in the caption, I did not take the picture and have not seen the record you mention. Thanks for the DOD.

RE: Civil War Veterans
I can see why they weren't on the list from the VA. The only one I found anything CW about was William Jones. Capt. Evernham was a sea captain. One internet tree said he served in the CW, but there was no one like that in the war. I emailed a person who cited an obit to see if there was any mention. If you have access to the Iowa Falls news archives, I think it was Nov 18, 1879.

There was no Nelson Follett or Martin Cavana in the war. There was a Martin Cavano in the 10th IA, but he was born in Switzerland and the Hardin one said NY in one census.

Thanks for thinking of us, though!

RE: Civil War Veterans
Hi. I was looking for Mr. Jones' CW record and found that there were two in the 6th Iowa, but neither of them died in 1901. I found that one of them did die at Iowa Falls in 1882 and is buried there. It appears that the wrong one got credit for being in that regiment. I added the pension record to the correct one #118127449--William H. I will send a correction to the other one.

RE: Civil War Veterans
Thanks for the info on the Civil War vets. What a neat gravestone Mr. Follett has!

RE: Civil War Veterans
I don't need a transfer, but I do appreciate the info so that Mr. Coulter can be added to the SUVCW database. Thanks!!

Find A Grave Memorial# 127472057. Your call on whether or not this is a duplicate. I entered from Cemetery Records. Let me know if you want me to delete. Happy to do so.

Vernon Cowell
If you think Vernon Cowell 107688148 is a duplicatee of 127165851 I will gladly delete. The memorial that submitted was from an old cemetery list. Only Vernon Cowell (dates unknown) with a plot number was listed. I hate to delete it if there is a possibility it is not a duplicate. What do you think ??
