|Working on researching our family and found this great site. While visiting cemeteries searching for family graves, we take additional photos and often photograph an entire cemetery when time allows. It is our hope that others will benefit as much as we have from other contributors that have volunteered their time to create memorials and/or add photos for our families.|
Since there are so many factors (weather, too much sun, sun at the wrong angle, weathered and aging stones, graves that are difficult to photograph etc.) if a better photo is obtained at a later date, please contact us through "suggest a correction" and we will gladly remove our photo. We also appreciate any updates, corrections, additions or family links to memorials and will credit contributors that provide additional information.
We will consider transfers of memorials that are not part of our family. To request a transfer, use the edit tab in the upper right and then under "suggest a correction", politely request a transfer of the memorial and include your contributor number and how you are related.

|WC Ovre||RE: Herman Liebe|
The edits page wouldn't allow me to add Herman's parents unless I removed Bertha as his spouse, but yes, she was in fact his wife.
Sorry for the confusion.

|Gerhard Skaar||"Jenny" Lerum Knutson|
"Jenny" was a daughter of Johannes (John) Erickson Lerum and Lukris Nelson. Both John and his brother Anders served in the Civil War. John was actually a POW for about 5 months towards the end of the war. Captured at Allatoona, GA. Anders moved from WI to farm in Oakland, MN and finally lived in Hayward, MN. He married Anna Flesche and their daughter, Anna Caroline married my grandfather, Chris Skaar. Gary Skaar

|Wanda Goode||RE: Hiram Baxter|
I suspected that could be the problem but it didn't hurt to ask. Thanks for your quick reply. Wanda
|Wanda Goode||Hiram Baxter|
Hiram is my 2nd great-grandfather. His wife Elizabeth died aft 1900 in Milbank and I'm wondering if her grave is also in the cemetery near Hiram or their son William J.? Hiram is Memorial# 97525213.
|baddadhardin||Flora Irene Hardin|
Thank you for taking the photo of her tombstone.
|Marie Ward Mills||Caroline Mary Simon Adams|
According to the Iowa Gravestone project and Clay County cemetery listings there are no Adams in Lone Tree cemetery. There are 32 Adams in Riverside Cemetery including second husband Cecil Parker Adams. His headstone is a replica of hers other than the names and dates. The headstone in Lone Tree may be a Cenotaph. So far I haven't found anything to indicate she was moved.
