Can you tell me where you found your information for Alice. I was unable to locate any documents confirming what you have sent. Thank you for your help. Best Wishes, Lettie

Ellington Township Emmetsburg
One of my grandmother's pictures of the class she taught has written on the bottom what I now think is Ellington and the second word could be TWP. "School District Ellington Twp. Miss Anna Bahls teacher." The writing is really hard to read. She also taught at the "Root" school. I presume you are from that area and might know where this school was. I'm pretty sure it was Freedom township. I have found a mother lode of information at the Emmetsburg newspaper archives on line through the library. I really need a contact in that are that I can ask an occasional question.

Gloria Barnes
RE: John Ludwig
His wife, Mary, was born about 1879. Her maiden name was Mary M. Dorweiler. They had 10 children so some of those other burials could be their children. Gloria

RE: John Ludwig
Hi - I am wondering if John Ludwig's wife, Mary, could be buried near him. Maybe you could check next time you go. Gloria
