This is my great grandfathers grave. David Percy born March 22, 1842, MT Savage, Maryland, USA he died Aug 24, 1903 Barton, Allegany, Maryland. The Daily News Frederick, Maryland Newspapeer Aug 25, 1903. "David Percy of Lonaconing was killed y cars in the American Coal Company's Caledonia Mine at Barton.
You have the grave site correct, but some of the information on your memorial site page is incorrect.
David Percy's wife was Louisa Davis Percy 1845-1913. She was buired along side her husband and her name plate is at the bottom of the grave monument for David Percy.
The lady Candace Who you have as his wife was the wife of David Percy's son James Percy 1875 - 1946
2nd You have listed himself as his child.
3rd: parents of David Percy are: Father: Thomas Percy 1810-1859 Mother: Agnes Muir Percy 1814-1889
Hope you can correct this information ASAP as I have started to notice family tree's listing this wrong information. Thank You for your help.
I am also a "Find-a-grave" contributor and I understand how difficult it is to keep up and accurate. We are glad for the service and your dedication. Thank You, Ruth Wiebe

I'm still having trouble with the edit tab on the last option (to send another suggestion.) It pops up some ads and won't let me send. Anyway, now there are 2 memorials for Leroy C. Engel, 1918-1992 (since you corrected the spelling of the last name.) Thank you!
|Glenda Barry||Elmer & Louise Ehrenfeld|
Hi Rob and Debi,
I tried to send you a message thru the edit tab, but it wouldn't let me. Since the last name was misspelled and is now corrected, both of these have duplicates and will need to have 2 of them deleted. Thank you! Let me know if you think I send too many edits.

|Linda Kestner||Old German Cemetery|
Hi Rob and Debi...you always say you remember me from searches you did at WPGS: KESTNER et al. I'm a little bit closer to finding my Martha Wettlaufer Kestner Bowers because her daughters: Caroline and Catherine married CONEBY and HAUGHT husbands, well documented in Washington County. From that research, I think I've found the girls' father, John Bowers, buried in Old German Cemetery, Penn Hills. Problem is that the fellow who entered many graves there has died and now there's an outstanding list of requested photos. I put the question out there on the Forum but so far no takers. Tell me, do you know about this Cemetery? Are there any records at WPGS regarding burials? From the few photos I've seen, the stones are in poor condition and transcription would have been difficult for a long time now. Of course, you see what I'm after -- if John Bowers, b. 22 Aug 1836 - d. 08 Dec 1888, is there, b. "German Lutheran" on 10 Dec 1888, surely Martha is there too as death record says he was "married".
Please tell me what You recommend: should I wait for someone at Findagrave or should I pay a professional and if so, who? I'm guessing there isn't any stone to be seen...but surely some burial records are still in existence. Any advice for me? Many thanks. Linda Kestner, Jacksonville OR email@example.com
|KEN DOTY BROWN||Louther Robert|
Now that I have looked at this closely, you are correct. Robert is the son of William, not James.
I will get back to you with more information and questions.
|KEN DOTY BROWN||RE: Robert Louther|
I rec'd your message. I will look into the problem and get back to you on Thursday.
I have 2 Margaret Fi(a)lloons in my tree. One the daughter of Daniel, the other the daughter of John. I am not even sure that Daniel and John are related, but I believe they are brothers.
Will be in touch.
