Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a fifth generation Californian and San Josean. On my mother's side I am the descendant of Mexican and Chilean miners who came to work in the New Almaden quicksilver mine outside of San Jose, CA. I do extensive research tracing the families of the early New Almaden miners.

From my paternal Grandmother, I am a descendant of Anthony Gholson, who came to America with his brother from Wales in 1680. My branch of the Gholsons were early settlers of Texas.

RE: Lisle Williams Transfer
Veronica: I have to go to the library and will look for obits if you do not have them. Also I did a little searching and see where Lisle had 3 daughters with Margaret McDonald. Was not able to locate anything on her. Gary

RE: Lisle M Williams
Veronica: Lisle and Olive Williams are buried at the Monterey City Cemetery. I have brought it to the attention of Gary Crandall owner of the San Carlos memorial. If you do not have the information you might want to copy it from from San Carlos site before he removes it. Let me know and I will transfer the memorial to you. Gary

RE: Oops!
Hi Veronica, thanks for the alert about the duplicate memorials for Lisle Williams. I will be glad to delete mine if it turns out to be the wrong cemetery. I got the cemetery name from a cousin who was there in person.

RE: Julia Larios Gonzales
Hi Veronica, The burial info came from an online
transcription of San Benito County Cemeteries at http://www.cagenweb.com/sbenito/sbencem.htm#New
Both Julia Larios and her sister Annie are listed. I don't know when or if she really married anyone named Gonzales. That info was from you in an "edit" for me. Here's the info about the New Idria Cemetery: "Location: 65 miles from Hollister past Panoche area, at New Idria, near abandonded [sic] Quicksilver mine. (New Idria Cemetery was considered to be in Fresno County prior to 1874)"
Both sisters are listed in Book 3, page 86b. No cause of death or abbreviation for the source, such as a death cert or burial permit, just the book and page number. Hope this helps!

McCrary Family in Old Auburn Cemetery
You wrote this -I see it is possible she was buried in the IOOF Cemetery, since it seems it wasn't shut down until 1896.

I found this
California Statutes, 1865-1866

Trustees of Auburn Lodge, No. 7, Independent Order of Odd Fellows & others including the citizens of Auburn, received permission to remove remains to the current location and re-inter and to re-erect headstones in good order on the new as on the original graves.

So there is a section that is from the IOOF located at the Old Auburn Cemetery. People are still being interned there. I would imagine they are mostly relatives of the people interned there now.

If you want to try to find your relatives in the Old or New Auburn Cemetery. Office
(530) 885-5922) M-F 8 am to 4 pm to verify internment.

If I find anything along my way I always post so you never know what will show up. A few other ladies have been working on Placer County also.

Albert & Theresa Ysunza
Hello there, I received your 3 edits for Albert & Theresa Ysunza. I love getting new information and learning things about those I photograph. I was wondering where you got your info from? I don't doubt your edits, I just always ask every contributor that sends me edits to tell me the source of where they got the info just to insure that each memorial is as accurate as possible :) . Anyways, thanks for the edits. I look forward to hearing back from you and knowing more about Albert & Theresa.
Regards,
Mrs. Delatorre
