Thomas, I am Paul Thomas Greene. My dad was Paul H Green, aka Greene. His dad was Samuel. You solved many questions for me with the info provided. My brother is Wayne Radford Greene (Jacksonville). How can I help you further our "tree" ?

High Bluff Cemetery/Beverly's
I have transferred your Beverly ancestor's memorials to you so that you will be able to link family members. If you have more relatives that you would like transferred please use the edit tab at the top right of the memorial as findagrave suggests. Thanks, Luvspugs, (contributor #46559635)

RE: Samuel Greene
Hi Thomas,
Well I dont know if you have ever been to Evergreen cemetery but let me tell you WOW! it is huge and on top of that, the office info is so obsolete and so NOT up to date its amazing. They have a card index that only the office assistants can access. When I asked info about Mr. Green the lady pulled out a card (that looked like it was from 1914) She told me that "he is buried in this area but there is no marker"...So my intent was to go take a pic of the area between the two other stones that she said he was between. Imagine my surprise when I went there and there was a huge memorial stone! Yes I have the map of cemetery that she marked him on.

RE: Alexander Pow
Tom got those transferred over to you and you can fill in any blanks. The death date on John S Pows 1st wife M Laura, is 1900... Had to peel that brush back just to get a half way decent pic. I found it very sad that their infant son James R. also died in 1900. My pics are most often pristine, however, Union Cemetery isn't pic friendly at certain times of the day combined with the conditions of some stones... Hope I helped a little bit.

RE: James Pow
Hi Tom
Alexander Pows stone was probably the luckiest hit I have ever had. He is no where near James and I nearly gave up. I got out of my car to check another Family's stones and right behind it was Alexander Pow and his wife and other children including Alex Jr. and what I believe are his daughters etched on the sides of the monument. Should you have interest in them, I can make up the memorials and swap them over to you. Also, behind James is John S Pow with wife and daughter. Let me know and I will put those together for you if they help out.

RE: James Pow
Tom...I will try and head back down this afternoon to find the stone of Alexander. I'm hoping he is on the back of James stone or very close by. I didn't realize that James was even on the request list until I got home and sorted thru the pics. I'll see what I can do later on. Hopefully, I can find it again, lol...Union is a very large cemetery.
