|Michael Stephen Jackson||re: Loyd S Cooper|
Hello, it's been a while since we've corresponded, and hope all is well for you. I was at Des Arc, MO yesterday and saw the very interesting tombstone for Loyd S Cooper. In checking the 1900 census, I found that Loyd was born in 1897 according to the census, the month could be January, June, or July as on the letter J was listed before 1897.
He is listed as the son of John William Cooper (born 15 Feb 1856 in England - died 15 Jan 1922 of Apoplexy - Suddenly at Union Township, Iron Co, MO.)(Missouri Death Certificate 888). His wife and mother of Loyd was Victoria Elizabeth Cooper nee Weinrich born 05 Oct 1855 at Tosong, Ohio - died 25 May 1944 at Des Arc, MO.(info from Missouri Death Certificate 18185) (Victoria the daughter of George Weinrich and Eliza Boquette).
Hope all is well for you, hope to correspond with you again.
Yours in Genealogy,
Steve Jackson aka Michael Stephen Jackson

Regarding this memorial which you are not permitted to delete because it was transferred to you by someone else .... have you considered simply correcting the burial site on it to the right cemetery and then deleting your duplicate which is in the proper cemetery?

You are very welcome. Glad to help.
Sorry, I don't know how to send a copy of death cert for Millie Frances Hobbs. Found it and it confirms her father's name was Foster(found it was Enoch Foster from another source). Mother was Susan Edwards. The death certs for 4 of her sons say mothers maiden name was Foster. Only one,George W Hobbs,said his mothers name was Millie Frances Spillers. I can't explain the discrepancy. Found death certs thru familysearch.org.
