Their son, Alvin P. Stowe and Victoria Ann (Beatty) Bellows, are my great-great grandparents. Alvin and Victoria had a daughter, Emma Jenetta (Nettie) Stowe who married Albert Anz (Jr). Nettie and Albert had a son, Archie Mikel Anz, Sr. Archie (Sr.) and Mildred Bommer Anz were my grandparents. Archie (Jr.) and Mildred had an only child, Archie Mikel Anz, Jr. who was my father.
Obit Eris Eli Dees, 71, resident of the Healing Springs community, died Wed. Aug. 12, in the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, AR. Born July 12, 1916, at Wedington, Arkansas, he was the son of Edmund Ellison and Nannie Clouse Dees and had been a lifetime resident of Washington and Benton Counties. Mr. Dees was a retired auto mechanic and antique dealer. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the Army Air Corps as an airplane mechanic. Mr. Dees was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs. Survivors include one sister, Lucille McVay of the home; two nephews, Terry Dees of Rolla, Mo; Kerwin Dees of Owasso, OK; one niece, Judy Graham of Tulsa, OK.
