Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Kansas. I moved to NW Houston in 1986. I am a mom to two History teachers that I could not be more proud of. Genealogy runs deep in our family.

I find cemeteries comforting and peaceful. Therefore it is only fitting that I take pictures while I am in one. I want future generations to be able to easily find information on their relatives. The internet is a wonderful tool to use in this way.

I volunteer my time as a National Memorial Lady. We are a group of 30 ladies who honor our vets at every opportunity. I also am a Senior Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders who escort our military safely to their final resting place on motorcycles. I have a special gratitude for our military men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice as well as all who served the USA proudly. Both of my father-in-laws served in WWII, one in the US Army Air Corp. and the other in the US Navy.

If you are requesting a transfer for a particular memorial, please let me know what relation that you are to the deceased. I will make consideration at that point. If you want to use any of my grave stone pics, feel free need to ask.

America....Home of the Free because of the BRAVE.

RE: Bernard Allen Burton
Thanks, Jan.

I'm not sure of anything. I did notice last night that there was site maintenance about 10 PM your time; so maybe there was a F-A-G problem.

Thank you for your time.

Bernard Allen Burton
Hi Jan,

The pic you posted for Bernard is for another gentleman, EL Burton. Different death dates.

I called the office and got the plot information on the phone, that I put on the memorial. Did they steer me wrong? I hope not.

At some point, do you think you could look for Bernard?

Thanks a million.

Photo of Ellis Patterson grave marker

To Jan Baughman,
Thanks so much for taking the time to find this marker. I am a photographer in Fort Worth and am helping a friend with a project for his family, who are located in Oklahoma. This is his father's marker. From all of us involved, we offer our appreciation for volunteering your time to help us complete this project.

All the best,
K. G.

Harry Neff Waldron
I finally located the place of birth of the Waldron brothers. Joseph Robert "Joe" Waldron's Registration Card in 1917, told that he was born at the town of Washington, Kansas. This town is in WA. County. They were not there when a US Census was taken, but had moved to Canadian Co. OK., so I have had quit a search.
