Wayne 'Jim' Watkins
Could you please transfer the memorial (#122608032) for Wayne 'Jim' Watkins to me. I am asking on behalf of Jim's brother-in-law. I'd rather not go into details pertaining to the family, but my family and Jim's in-laws were very close to our family as well as the earlier generations of both families were. Thank you.

Hi, Silver.

George A. Chamness who died in 1913 was not the son of Thomas Chamness and Sarah Smith.

Thomas and Sarah had 1 son (Marquis Owen)and 5 daughters: Martha, Zura, Georgia Ann, Josephine and Ethel.

Georgia Ann married Isaac Church. She died in Missouri in 1941. Her death certificate is online. It identifies Thomas and Sarah as her parents.

George's obit only mentions 2 sisters... one of whom married a Cooper. None of Thomas and Sarah's daughters married a Cooper.

Can you please disconnect George from Thomas and Sarah? They were not his parents.

The Duke
Hi SilverSpark, I wanted to say thanks for transferring Mr. Douglas "Duke" Grayson. I got in touch with the Duke's daughter and she scanned and e-mailed me the Duke's original USMC photo which I added to his online memorial. We wrote a bio together and added it to the Duke's online memorial description. She is now interested in researching her lineage now that she saw the Findagrave process in action. Thanks again and keep up the good work :-)

Nellie J Ward. Her maiden name was Bartlett and her parents were John B. Bartlett and Mary Catherine Parrott. I knew her personally as she was the mother of my aunt, Dorothy Catherine Ward Seelinger (Find A Grave Memorial 104227176)
