RE: Burrows family Caney KS
Thanks again for all your work on these people. Jesse was 12 in 1900 and 22 in 1910. I knew he was single then but he might have married before he died at age 25. At least that's what I was thinking when I saw the females who married into the Burrows family who are buried in the Sunnyside cemetry in KS that I can't identify. I see also that you got my aunt Velma's maiden name Bridges. Does that cemetery have a collection of records on its burials or is it now essentially unattended? I think with a little more work I'll be able to identify another one soon for you. Best wishes. Suzanne A

Burrows family Caney KS
Thanks so much for adding all these memorials to findagrave. As a result of your work, I discovered the grave of my great grandmother Rebecca Elizabeth Jane Benton Burrows, wife of Alfred Burrows and mother of Floyd Jesse Burrows, known as Jesse and Robert Lee Burrows, known as Lee. The family seems to have an odd habit of not being known by their first names. I always knew "Rebecca" as Jane or Elizabeth and had no idea she was given the first name Rebecca until I came across a history of her mother's family, the Hamilton's. And Floyd? I'd heard about my Dad's Uncle Jesse (sometimes Jessie) and knew he died in 1913 but had no idea he was buried with the others in Caney. I've suggested some edits. See 1900 Census for Alford Burrows, Springdale, Logan Co.OK for this family. Jesse was born in Indian Territory now OK. Is one of the women in this cemetery Jesse's wife? If you can tell me how to find out, I'll try. If you're a family member please drop me a note. Gratefully Suzanne A
