Enos & Catherine (Ludington) Williams
I'm looking for a photo of my great-great grandmother Catherine (Ludington) Williams's grave. I also need a photo of Enos's grave (Memorial# 21420131.) I would imagine hers would be next to his, since they were husband and wife. If you are able to help with that, it'd be greatly appreciated.

That would be super - not urgent. They are very distant relatives - descended from my great grandfather's brother. When I was living in Atlantic, Iowa (ca 1985), my mother told me we had relatives in the Omaha area but was never able to make a connection. I did connect with & visit some distant paternal relatives in eastern Iowa.

Yes - that is his wife. Do you have access to an obituary for either of them? That would be very helpful. From the cemetery website, they appear to not have had any children. Thanks your help.

I was wondering, since you had posted and taken picture of the marker if you noted if there was a McCormick next to this one who might be a relative. I don't know his wife's name. Frank & Effie are his parents, both of whom died in Omaha.

Do you by chance know who is buried adjacent to him? Wife or children or parents: Mother = Effie; Father = Frank F

Yes, Emma Francis Lambert was my first cousin twice removed. She was the daughter of William Merritt Lambert and my great grand aunt Malinda Sarah Long. So Malinda's parents, Ephraim Long and Hanna Sarah Olinger are my great great grandparents and also your husband's.

In addition, William Butler Williams was the uncle of Vesta Janette Williams who married my grandfather's brother, Fred Snyder.

I think all of those people are buried in Prairie Union.

I agree, everyone is related.

Well, the short answer to your question is no, I don't know anyone in Shubert, but I have reason to believe that at least a few of them may be relatives of mine. I got interested in Prairie Union Cemetery because my grandparents are buried there. When I went down to look for my grandfather's brother (and found him) I discovered that a number of people there were related to them. After a couple of year's work on my family tree, I've identified a couple of dozen people in Prairie Union that are relatives. Basically, if you know anyone down there named Lambert or Keister, they're probably related to me. Glad you liked the photographs. The Shuberts were side by side, so I assume they must have been man and wife. Take care. Ken
