 | RE: Crown Hill Dennis - I'm sorry, I didn't mean to step on toes if you were working this cemetery first! I had this cemetery (among others in the area) marked to do as soon as it cooled off last summer, but broke my foot & couldn't do anything for months. With nice weather & green grass, I decided to work on it & copied off the list of photo requests. While I was walking around looking for those, I took some pictures of some of the others just in case. I didn't realize until I started looking some of those names up that you had been working that cemetery also. Until then,I'd planned to go back out this weekend, but changed my mind because I didn't want to upset you by "intruding on your space". I was trying to decide if I should contact you. If you would like help, I would be happy - this is a pretty little cemetery - you can email me & let me know. If you'd rather I left it to you, I completely understand that also. | | | Roberta Breaune
 | Gerald Housman Hello again, Still kind of hung up on this issue and walking the Ottawa Indian Cemetery in Ottawa county, Oklahoma, we found a grave marker for Gerald Housman....a much younger man that the one who would have been sitting as a boy on your mother's lap....but this cemetery is packed full of Houman's and there are Geralds all through their tree....btw, the book in our library on this cemetery was written by Gerald Housman and has family link after family link. It was copyrighted in 1996, I think I recall...and the stone we found last week has no death date on it....I bet your Gerald is part of this family. Click on all the Housman's in Ottawa County and I bet you might be able to find a spark to help you solve this mystery. | | | Carol Ballew/Harris
 | Curtis Smith correction Thanks for the correction, you are absolutely correct! Appreciate it! Carol | | | Roberta Breaune
 | Gerald Housman Ok, Dennis...pretty sure I have been standing too close to the tailpipe now. We were searching for Erma L. Spriggs's grave, memorial # 56457579, created by Gerald Housman on August 07, 2010. His brother is listed as Jehu. Because clicking on his name takes us to your message searching for the identity of the child, surely you have been in touch with him????? Worn out for now...walked miles and miles today. This is getting interesting...but confusing. Roberta | | | Roberta Breaune
 | Jehu and Gerald Housman Hi Dennis, I did a little more checking and found that Jehu Housman did pass away May 22, 1998 and is also buried in Williams Timberhill Cemetery, most probably beside Lena. This memorial appears to have been created by "Gerald Housman" and actually does track back to you. Am I correct that you created this and others of the Housman memorials as you search for a key to Gerald? I do know Beverly, Jehu and Lena's daughter. | | | Roberta Breaune
 | Gerald Housman Hi Dennis, It is my understanding that you are searching for someone named Gerald Housman. Housman is a fairly common name in this area of Northeast Oklahoma but Lena Housman was married to Jehu Housman and she was a teacher where I went to grade school and very close friends with our family as my mother was the principal at this gradeschool. Jehu is named as a child of Erma and Vollie Housman along with Wanda, Gerald, and Betty Dry Brubaker. Lena died years ago of a brain tumor and is buried in the Williams Timberhill Cemetery, Mayes County, Oklahoma. I have entered her memorial because she was a close personal friend. Please feel free to send me a message if you want me to get you more information about Jehu. He was a super guy but I am not sure he is still living. I could easily check for you. Roberta | | | Tony
 | RE: Dukes Dennis:
The only thing that should be done for a cenotaph is to click on the Add Note and make a remark like: This is a cenotaph.
If the actual burial location is known, I usually add: (enter name) is actually buried in (name the cemetery and location).
I don't think that I am related. I noticed the link and addition while browsing burials in the cemetery.
Thanks for all that you do.

 | Elva Brashear 87456186 Dennis - thank you for pointing out to me that I had the wrong headstone photo on her memorial. I'm sure I had it at one time, but it's long been deleted now, if I didn't misplace it also :). Hopefully you were made aware of my mistake when you went to add a picture and if so, hopefully you still have it and will post it. Thanks again... | | | Carol Ballew/Harris
