RE: Jimmy Dobbs Photo
Unfortunately if it wasn't prepaid and someone else has to take on the expense it will sometimes stay blank.

You're most welcome! I will keep an eye on it and watch for his date of death to be added, not sure how long that takes. ~Nancy

RE: Hatfield Grave Marker Photo
Dennis,
I understand.

Willie's wife's name was Lillian Ann White. Her parents called her by nickname, "Lillie," but after her first marriage and second and both 1930 & 1940 census records, she uses her first name, Lillian. I am past 70 and we have always known them as Willie and Lillian. However, I noticed on the marker, it is shown as Lillie. What can I say?

Thank you.
Jim

Hatfield Grave Marker Photo
Dennis,
Thank you very much for posting the grave marker photo of Lillian and Willie Hatfield. He was my dad's first cousin. I never knew his name was James William Hatfield until I started researching more in depth. He never went by James, William, or Bill that I know. He was always called Willie by his mother, family, and other relatives. His son was always called "Little Bill" or just Bill.

If you don't mind. I would like to leave the nickname as just Willie. The photo speaks for itself and for whoever created the marker. Perhaps "Willie" would have been too long for symmetry.

Thanks,
Jim
