Bio Photo Being a photo volunteer for Find A Grave has become my primary hobby, and has inspired a belief that every person deserves that their time, regardless how little or how long, be preserved in grave marker photo's before time and the elements takes it's toll and they are lost forever. Having the opportunity to provide others with grave marker pictures, who otherwise, may never have a chance to see them, is a gratifying experience. I strive to get the best possible photo, although deterioration, or location, of some markers makes that difficult.

Currently, my main focus is on Rose Hill Cemetery, in Grady Co. Okla. I have, so far, found dozens upon dozens of people buried there that are not listed on cemetery sexton records. I do this by making photo surveys and comparing them to the records. I've determined that dozens more that are listed in the records are in unmarked graves. I am compiling a list of names and locations in hopes of someday getting this information into the records. I hope to accomplish this before it is my turn to fill one of those plots.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

The photo is just fine, and thanks again.
His Dad, David Haskell is deceased, but not sure that he is interred at Rose Hill.
He died in Fort Morgan, CO also. He passed over on 4 SEP 2002, and according to Find-A-Grave, he is interred in Fort Morgan, CO.

Mike, thank you for your msg. I have photos of ALL the DYKES headstones. Thank you for the offer.

I have a nephew buried in Rose Hill and he does not have a photo of his headstone that I can find.
His name is Gary W Youngblood. I have submitted changes for his record, ie., born date, and location, death date and location, mother and father.

RE: Antinoro Family
Thank you for posting the photos. Couldn't remember the family for it's been a few years but noticed the line was connected to a Bradford family. Again thank you.

Rose Hill Cemetery ~ Chickasha Oklahoma
Hello Mike,

Just a short note to let you know that we are truly grateful for the splendid headstone photos of our Taylor ancestors buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to help a total stranger with my request and to pinpoint their burial location. The photos are priceless.

Finally, and most important, thank you for your contributions as a volunteer on Find A Grave. You can be assured your photo contributions on Find A Grave will be appreciated by future generations.

Again, thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request; your kindness made me very happy.

Have a good day,
