Re headstone and cemetery photos:
1.In some cases, clicking on the photo will provide a much better view of the inscription.
2.Some of my photos are not of the highest quality, especially the earlier uploads. If you have a better one, don't hesitate to add it--but please let me know.
3. Headstone and cemetery photos which I have posted here were all taken by me, except two which were given to me by a cousin and a friend, who have been acknowledged on the photos.
4. About copying headstone photos: Please read Find-a-grave Policy
My photos are here to honour the people named on the headstones, and to be shared,....but if copied to any other location PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE AND CREDIT THE SOURCE.
The above notes have been posted since 2011. The following was added April 2013:
Given the number of photos found on ancestry.com with no credit, it seems the above is not clear. Headstone and cemetery photos may be uploaded to other sites if they are properly source credited. The source of the photo is the find-a-grave website, and the photographer.

|Udawna||Alexander and Amanda Judd|
You photographed their headstone in the Athens Village Cemetery. Everyone has the death for Amanda as 1904, which looks like the headstone has from the picture. But when I blew up the picture, I wondered if the date could be 1894. Could you somehow make sure what that date is, plus the birth year for Alexander looks like it could be 1905 and not 1906? I know it is hard to tell on old headstones, but maybe a rubbing could get a better "view". I found a death record for an Alexander Judd for 17 November 1905. Also, there is a death record for a Mrs. Alexander Judd for 1895 and the 1894 date is close to that. Just curious if you could do that for me? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!!

William Dixie and Nancy (Cardiff) Dixie
Still have one more child missing
Jane (Dixie) Brown
Yonge Front Twp, Leeds Co Ontario, Canada
Son of Thomas Brown, Sr. and Sarah Brown
April 26, 1884
Leeds and Grenville United Counties, Ontario, Canada
below is the link for their marriage
She shows up on the 1881 census in Leeds and Grenville United Counties, Ontario, Canada
I'm still learning about this fascinating side of my late husbands family. And the area my mother-in-laws mother was from. What a cool place. Wish my late husband was alive it looks like a place he would have loved. I don't think his mother had any idea what a gold mine she came from.
I have looked all over but I am sure I have missed where Jane and her husband might have settled the closest might be in Toronto, Canada according to the area directory. But that might be iffy because her name in it is Jennie Brown. I am not sure if that is a nickname or her real name yet. That shows up between 1890 -1895. From there there is nothing else on them.
So maybe you know more where Jane might be since this end it has dried up.

|Anne Arroyo||Margaret & John Starrett graves|
I just wanted to thank you for having photos of the graves of my great grandparents archived on "Find a Grave". Because of the photos, I learned the dates of their deaths. They also served to show the change in the spelling of the last name (which was originally Starit in the local census and then eventually was changed to Starrett.)

Shirley - Thanks for the memorial for M/M James Breakenridge.
Hope that you and family are doing well!

|John Dunnville||Luman Latham|
I see from the Find a Grave web site that you have created a file on John Henry Latham from his gravestone in the Lyn Cemetery. John Henry is my GG Grandfather and I am trying to locate information on who Luman Latham's father and mother were....dates of birth, death, any other siblings and who his Grandfather & Grandmother were...dates of birth, marriage, death etc.
Any of this would be helpful...I have stuck on info on Luman for over a year.
|Dennis Bartholomew||Ault and associated persons|
Thank you, first for adding the Ault family and associated persons to Find A Grave, and secondly for transfering them to me....
As I verify information I will add to their memorials.........
Your work has been a help to me and hopefully to other researchers....
Joyce Renwick was born in 1937. She was a twin to James Stanley Renwick (My brother-in-law). Hope you can add this info. I will see if there are any photos of her from her surviving family members. Thanks
