Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide valuable information to a genealogist or comfort to a loved one.

There are thousands of undocumented cemeteries and millions of unphotographed graves. It is counter productive to duplicate someone else's efforts, so, if you have headstone photos, please add them to the memorials.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest any other correction" message including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials as per FAG rules which are your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If your relationship to the deceased is not listed, please consider adding the memorial to one of your virtual cemeteries, and use the edit functions to add additional info to the memorial I created.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

Volunteer contributors spend countless hours creating memorials after visiting cemeteries, photographing headstones and obtaining burial information. I am sure everyone would like to know their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

Thank you to:
- Alberta Genealogical Society Lethbridge Branch for:
- Lethbridge, AB grave locations and unmarked grave details.
- Foremost, AB death records.

- Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village Genealogy Club their support plus all the Pincher Creek Newspaper articles & Obituaries

Raymond Public Library
Richard Kiddle, the president of the Raymond & District Historical Society has just been here and we think we have the mystery of Arthur Pope's burial solved. We believe Arthur Pope was buried in a plot in the Temple Hill Cemetery that was originally purchased by a man named George Palmer and in the indexes, etc. the name of George Palmer has been included, but not who is actually buried there. Arthur Pope's name is put in brackets and Arthur's death date is used. So we have conferred with the Town of Raymond and they agree with us that Arthur Pope is actually buried in that plot. Soo.... the plot number where Arthur Pope is buried is 06-48-04. There is no headstone. Hope this helps! We are continuing to research the Legion records and will let you know if anything changes.

RE: Art Lund-Milk River
I believe I did that--they showed up on his memorial! I actually knew he and his wife well and the sons Patty and Terry. Terry and I are about the same age. I did learn a bit about Art and Violet both that I was not aware of. He and Violet were neat people. Art was pretty famous back in the day.

RE: Surname marker 'Children' in Union Cem
Would you also add the surname headstone photo to Bertie Children #133884846? Thanks a million!

Surname marker 'Children' in Union Cem
Hi Yvonne, Was wondering if you might upload your family surname marker photo to Bertie and Raymond Children? They are buried with John, Emma and Stanton Children. See #123752594. Many thanks for all your great work!

RE: Art Lund-Milk River
I didn't see the link, but I did link them all together. I was surprised to see that Patty died on the 16th of this month--he was ten years older than me. He was a cowboy just like his father, just not as Famous.

Art Lund-Milk River
Thank you for prodding me, and sending me the Lethbridge Obit for Art Lund. I actually had the privilege of being well acquainted with the Lund family--Art, Violet and Patty. They were close friends of my grand parents Fred and Ora May Beard and my Uncle Ralph Beard and his wife Mary. Mary is still alive age 97 in the nursing home in MR. They were neat people. I consider my self fortunate.

RE: Memorial# 126401724
Dear Yvonne
Many thanks for the information about the bar chart plaque.
This is something I had never seen before.
I am checking some further sources about the woman (Arthur John "Art" Carpenter`s wife, without any inscription sharing this plot.
Florence Marie (Leines) Carpenter appears to have been an American from Fertile, Polk County, Minnesota. She entered Canada on 17th June 1929 and had a pre immigration examination at Winnepeg.
I do need to verify this though.
Thanks again for obtaining her record from the Cemetery records without which she would have remained unknown from the family record, this is a case of outstanding dedication to detail.
Best wishes
