Bio and Links
Bio Photo Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide valuable information to a genealogist or comfort to a loved one.

Transfers - Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest any other correction" message including your "ID number", I'm more than happy to transfer memorials as per FAG rules which are your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If your relationship to the deceased is not listed, please consider adding the memorial to one of your virtual cemeteries, and use the edit functions to add additional info to the memorial I created.

If FAMILY MEMBERS wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

Some dates/names on the headstones are hard to read. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and input the changes. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of "Unknown" and incomplete memorials.

Volunteer contributors spend countless hours creating memorials after visiting cemeteries, photographing headstones and obtaining burial information. I am sure everyone would like to know their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.

A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added.

Thank you to:
- Alberta Genealogical Society Lethbridge Branch for:

RE: Family of Fern Anne Ensign and John Clarence Russell
Thank you for your information. I had found the obituary for Clarence and Fern. I also found the information on findagrave for the Russell's and their extended family. I will keep looking for the obituary for Lorne Russell. Thank you so much for your work.

Family of Fern Anne Ensign and John Clarence Russell
I am wondering if they are ancestors of yours? I am interested in knowing more about the family especially Lorne Alvin Russell buried at Stavely Cemetery, Alberta. Thank you.

Jannet McCorquodale McLean (1810-1900)
Hello! Sorry for any inconvenience in regard to the information on my great-great-great grandmother, Jannet (McCorquodale) Mclean. According to, she was born on 12 September, not 21 November, 1811; however, her headstone records her as being 89 years and 4 months when she died in 1900. Let's honor the 1810 year as her birthyear, and correct the month and day to 12 September. Again, sorry for any inconvenience!

Very best regards,

Brandon Henderson

Mary Elizabeth Catherine Taylor Gibboney
Hi, Thank you for making the change. I am sorry I gave you the wrong marriage date. Mary and William were married May 1883. She married Henry Gibboney in 1889. I have not been able to find the year her and William split company.
As for Mary's birth year that has been a real problem. On the 1871 census she is listed as being 5 years old and on the 1900 census she states she is 34 (i.e. birth 1866). However other census records and the boarder crossing into Canada as well as her headstone all create different years of birth.
I hope this helps some.
Again Thanks

Mary Elizabeth Catherine Taylor Gibboney
I thank you for all the wonderful work you have done on Find A Grave and for your efforts in ensuring the data is correct. You recently rejected my edit for linking Mary to her first husband William West stating that data conflicted with your data.
William West and Mary were married in Sept. 1889 in Salt Lake City Utah. To this union the daughter Minnie was born. They divorced and Mary moved to Colo. where she met Henry Mac Gibboney and he was her second husband.
The daughter Minnie stayed with William West, He and his wife Ann Arnold raised her.
Just a few more facts. Mary Elizabeth Catherine Taylor was the daughter of Sarah Waterland Kearl, the sister of my Great Grandfather James Kearl on my Mothers side of the family.
William West is my Great Grandfather on my Fathers side.
Would you please reconsider linking Mary E.C. Taylor to William so that Minnie lineage is correctly displayed.
Thank You

RE: Jane & George Hogg
In 1920, my Grandfather Joseph Hogg/Hodge brought his family back to United States and at that point he changed the name to Hodge. They are on the 1920 Idaho Federal Census. My mother was 2 years old at the time. He was pretty much of a scoundrel and my Mom felt he was probably running from the law! Does that help explain the situation?
