I am originally from Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, but I presently live in Plain City, Utah. My husband's kin are from Shiawassee, Clinton, Hillsdale, and Genesee Counties in Michigan, and in Vermont. Other lines go back to Ontario, Dutchess County, New York, and Kent, England. |
My father's kin, (McClelland) go back to Wigtownshire, Scotland, and before that, County Londonderry, Ireland, Limerick,and Kerry. Also Newcastle, England, many of them coming into Ontario, Canada, before Michigan.
My mother (Gillon) is from Clydebank, Scotland, and her lines go back to Donegal, Ireland, and Linlithgow, Falkirk, and the Isle of Islay in Scotland.
I am very involved in Family History and enjoy photographing and contributing to Find a Grave. I have researched many of the people that I have uploaded, using the links to connect with with others on the Family Tree.
I LOVE to transfer memorials to others that are more closely related than I. Please don't hesitate to ask. And I am open to making corrections or additions. If you have a better photo than one that I show, I am VERY HAPPY to take mine down for yours, or if you want the memorial of your kin that I created to be deleted, I am very happy to accomodate in any way.

Hi, checked Dungiven Parish Churchyard and couldn't find anything for Alexander. Having just got home, I notice that he married Margaret Haslett. There were several Haslett gravestones there. Is there any liklihood that both he and Margaret are buried in a Haslett plot? If so, I can call in there again sometime.

|Dancing With Ghosts||Thank you!|
Thank you so much for the transfer of Elizabeth Ann Stewart Taylor #56943951. Folks like you make Find a Grave the valuable resource it has become.
|Krista AQ Thompson||RE: Brenden Deuel|
I appreciate the offer, Barbara, but Brenden wasn't actually family, just seemed that way--he was my best friend's little brother.
Hi Barbara, was wondering if you would mind looking at the information on this page, as my own research into Abraham leads me to believe that he married Sarah Feakins on the 28 Aug 1842. Have seen the marriage register and his christening register, and believe that this is the correct information. However would been interested in your source and re-look at mine if need be.
You do a great job on here, along with all the others many thanks.

|David Kelley||Dumbarton, Scotland|
What is the best way to get info on burials in Dumbarton Scotland. My Grandparents are in a Dumbarton Cemetery. Are there find a grave members in Scotland?
|Kelly Huntoon Sargent||Huntoon|
You recently added several Huntoon's stating they were in Maple Grove (Hattie, Jennie, George for example) but I have them as being in Middlebury Township per another Find A Grave user (18637690 for example). So now I'm really confused. Can you check your data to verify? Thanks so much! Kelly Huntoon Sargent

|Bear Hugs||West Nottawasaga Presbyterian Church Cemetery|
I know you have been working on this cemetery and greatly appreciate your efforts. Thank you!
I purchased the cemetery transcript as many of my ancestors and relatives are interred in Nottawasaga. A note in the transcript reads as follows: "Many of the stones in this cemetery can only be found in the spring. Only the top part of the cemetery is being cared for. There are many stones that are now flat on the ground in among wild raspberry canes, etc." There are apparently ground hog holes in the "bottom section" so one must tread carefully.
I have no idea where you live in relation to this cemetery but have been wondering if you will you be adding more memorials and photos in the coming year. If so, do you prefer to create memorials from photos or can I help by adding memorials so you need only to add the photos?
Thank you again and Merry Christmas!
