|Hilary Jane Clarke||Private George Harold Nelson|
Peter,Harold was a member of my extended family and I have done some research about him and discovered hies "In Memoriam" in Heaton Cemetery,Bolton.My mother and George were second cousins.I have fond memories of his younger brother Harry,who visited Fleetwood regularly and brought me shoes from the family shoe shop in Bridge Street during WW2 when shoes were difficult to get!!! I believe the shop only closed in 2012/2013,being open since the 1800s.I have a photo of George in his uniform and I would really like to pass it on somewhere,any ideas of where it would be of most use or value??? I did think of the Imperial War Museum,Hilary Clarke.

You posted a photo of a memorial with his name on it. I just posted a photo of his marker. Thank you sergeant Wolstencroft for keeping my country free.
|SUE TEMPLEMAN||John Jesson Lucas|
I run www.quornmuseum.com and I am currently writing a book about the 79 young men from Quorn who died in WW1. I have a cetain amount of information about John Jesson Lucas (Jack), but if you have any more, it would be brilliant if you could get in touch. Best wishes Sue (email@example.com)
