I have been working on family history now for 35 years. I am originally from Lancaster, SC now residing in Columbia, SC. I have travelled the country looking for grave sites related to Youngs, Steeles/Steels, Heglers, Williams, Stewmans, Dentons, McCains, Blackmons, Stogners, Finchers, Manns, Lowerys, Hartsells, Miskelleys, Catoes, McManus', McAteers and others. Any information on any of these families will always be appreciated. Thanks to all those who have been so great at helping and transferring and leading me to the right places to get the family together. (Sorry if I ask for the aunts, uncles, cousins, the great aunts and great uncles and the such. They are family and if you are not related I don't understand the problem.) I do not mind transferring any memorial that I've created that is not in my family group(except for spouses) Please email or leave a public message, Thanks ever so much again. PS- an occasional statement has been made about the number of memorials managed vs created. I have requested to manage a number of memorials of a family member who passed away in order to keep the work up on the family history.|

|C. LATTA ||Gaskins|
I am a gg-granddaughter of Benjamin J. Gaskins.
I have been in touch with Julius for years.
If we are related I wanted to identify it.

Don't know of any photos - if you locate any, pls keep me in mind.
|Sandy Kreiser||RE: Stogners|
Am related thru collateral lines: Mae Rogers Stogner married Coleman Boyd Sowell, (half-bro of my grandmother, Nettie Sowell Knight) and Florence Knight Sowell, (mother was Nancy Ann Stogner Knight). Florence was 3rd wife of my great grandfather, John Michael Sowell.

Do you think Fork Hill Cemetery, Lancaster County, SC, could possibly be the same cemetery as Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Lancaster county, SC?
|Barbara Ardis Post Coker||RE: Re: Mary Shaw|
I understand. Thank you for your reply.

Agnes L Parson's Find A Grave # 59356688 Sorry for the trouble and thank you for making the connection.
|Neptune649||John William Rosser|
I was able to locate and photograph the headstone of John William Rosser. However I was not able to find Sarah Ellen Rosser. Any more details would be helpful and I would be willing to travel back to the cemetery and search again. I did notice another grave next to John which was for Belle and Isaac Rosser.
that could be her. all i know is that she was a twin of nettie.

|Amanda Mizell Phillips||Thank you|
Robert, thank you for adding the obit for Mrs Nannie Mae Baker. Thank you for all that you do in helping make this site the wonderful wealth of information that it is!
|John Hughes||Dora Marlar|
Yesterday, I was able to locate the markers for Dora and Clarence Marlar. Their photos and plot locations are posted. I also found in the lot two other Marlar markers - one for John R. (1871-1968) and Roberta L. (1879-1980)Marlar and Edson Leon (1912-2010) and Mary Steakley (1917-2006) Marlar. I have created memorials and posted photos for all four and have linked husband/wife and parents/child. You may wish to link Clarence to his parents, John and Roberta. I took a few moments and determined the relationships from other online records. If any are incorrect, let me know and I'll correct. It would appear that Edson and Clarence were brothers.
Clarence and Dora have individual markers and both have settled a bit while the settling for John and Roberta is a bit more pronounced and there was quite a bit of grass which had to be trimmed away. When it cools a bit - 105 yesterday, I'll go back and get a better picture. These markers all need to be raised to the surrounding ground level. The cemetery will "replant" markers at the request of the family. If that is something you'd like to have done, please call Restland. If you choose to do so, I'd be pleased to return and get new photos.
