In the last few years, I have been creating memorials for my family, as I discover where they are buried. This is still an on going project.|
Recently (Aug 2011), I transcribed The Bay City IOOF Cemetery. I have created a spreadsheet of this Cemetery, taken photos of all of the headstones and put this information on FindaGrave. I have tried to research something about the person and link them with their family members.
I have completed photographing all of the headstones at the Fairview Pioneer Cemetery. I have also received from the Tillamook Pioneer Museum a listing of all of the graves that are in This Cemetery, along with a map. It is quite a small cemetery and it is quite overgrown, there are not many headstones left that are readable.
My next goal is to transcribe the cemetery at the Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens. Thank you to everyone who helps me out on this journey.

|Yarbrough Hunter||Mary E Smith Yarbrough|
You requested that I add John McCubbin as her first husband. I think you are mistaken. Mary was born 1822 and was married to James Yarbrough before 1844. John McCubbin appears to have been born in 1847. Mary had a daughter named Mary. Perhaps she is who you are looking for? I do not have a memorial for her.

I have linked her to her parents.
|Ron Woodward||Merritt Woodward's Information|
I really appreciate all the work you are doing on Sunset Heights Cemetery, especially since my grandfather, my father and my mother are buried there. I would like to offer the following corrections to Merritt Ord Woodward's record:
His first wife was Elva Viola Mead. You have her listed as Alva Mead. She and Merritt had two children: Floyd Orval Woodward and Mildred Opal Woodward before she died on 28 May 1916, in Elm Creek, Nebraska. She is buried in Overton Cemetery, Nebraska.
His second wife was Vivian Lenore Carpenter. She and Merritt had 10 more children: Retha June Woodward, Verna Elizabeth Woodward, Lyle Orlando Woodward, Gerald Arthur Woodward, Vivian Lois Woodward, Ronald Edgar Woodward, Charles Ord Woodward, Edward Merritt Woodward, Richard Wayne Woodward, Kay Louise Woodward
Wilma Lois Woodward is my mother and is not one of Merritt's children. She was Wilma Lois Frederick and she is also buried there. You have done and excellent job on her gravesite. I wrote her obituary and really appreciate seeing it attached to her record.

Glad to do it!

You are welcome.
As you might know, certain sections of this cemetery are being renovated (even in this cold, foggy weather that we are experiencing.) When those sections are completed, and the weather warms up, I will be taking additional photos.

Thank you so much for his tombstone photo :)

I wish they were better. The four concrete slabs are a little below ground level and were completely covered with leaves. Not surprising that they are worn and broken like they are. I wonder if these were moved from the original burial place...

You created a duplicate record
78954442 autogravr record
I'm letting your stand since it is by far the more complete.
In Spring Grove cemetery we have many duplicates created from the autogravr program. Any death or last interment on or prior to October 2011 has a very good chance of already being out there. If the dates are confusing use springgrove.org for the burial records which will help.
If you could, on your record , disable the URL so it reads springgrove.org=###### interment I'd .
Thanks so much and blessings.

His stone has October 18, 1848 as do the records of Oak Hill Cemetery.
