RE: Torrey Larsen
Hello Aemie -- Thank you very much for your prompt response and giving us permission to use the photo of Torrey Larsen on our Sons of Norway, Fram 13, web site. I hope what we have posted meets with your approval. If you would have any other photos or information about other Lodge members buried in the Fram 13 plot, please let us know. The Lodge has a very long and interesting history, but some of the current members fear much of our history can be lost if we do not get it recorded.
Thank you again for your assistance,
Peg & Keith Wheeler

Torrey Miller Larsen photo permission
Hello Aemie,
What wonderful tributes you have created for your ancestors. I am currently engaged in a project for the our Eureka, Ca. lodge Fram #13 of Sons of Norway. The lodge manages the cemetery plot in which a number of lodge members have been interred, Torrey Larsen among them. My wife and I are researching and writing up brief biographies of these members. To see our "work in progress" you may want to follow this link:

We would like your permission to use the great photo you have posted on FindAGrave of Torrey Larsen on this website. We would of course credit you.

you can correspond directly with us if you like:

Thank you so much and Thank you for your fine work on FindAGrave.

George Henry Pieper
Your memorial for George & Othillia Pieper (she is my Great Aunt) does not list the cemetery. According to their Death Records they were buried in Saint John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. I live about 90 miles away but I will try to get photos of their grave markers- if any. I belive their son Charles and his wife Irma are also buried there. I will try to get photos of them also.

Irene was my Dad's first cousin, so going down the line... that would make you and I 4th cousins. Yes, I've been in contact with Georgia's son. I just went and visited the traveling Vietnam wall this past weekend and paid my respects to your uncle James (Jim). It's come to this area twice now and I've gone both times. I was raised in Eureka and grew up knowing a cousin had died in Vietnam. I've seen his memorial on here, would be nice to see a photo of the plaque at Ocean View!

Dora Hart Swanson
Hello! Your bio says your related to everyone whose memorial you maintain; I would like to know how you're related to Dora Swanson? She was my great Aunt; my Grandmother, Grace Hart Jenkins Leach was her sister. I am the daughter of Grace's youngest son, Norman Jenkins.

Jim Rice
I would like to know what your relation to James Ananost (Prairie Grove, AR) is? He is my grandfather. I did a lot of research on him about 2007 and was not able to find much. Now I am trying again. At that time, I did not know the exact spelling of the original name.
The lineage is on my mothers (Georgia) side.
Anything you could supply would be great. I am hoping to travel to Greece in the next couple of years and would like to visit to the area that he came from (Trikala, Greece).

RE: Thank You
Great to hear from you. I have known Carrie Pepper for about ten years. I have been helping her try to locate info on Tony.
I checked with Joe Olszewski (he was the 3rd platoon commander at Khe Sanh) who sent me the info about the MIA team going back, but he does not know when. He will keep me informed. He said that he was in contact with one of James's brother who lived in Eureka, California years ago, but had lost contact with him.
I have pictures of our area at Khe Sanh. I can send them to you if you like.

James Trimble
I see where you maintain the findagrave memorial page for James Trimble.
I served with James and Tony Pepper with 3rd plt/G/2/26 at Khe Sanh.
I just wanted to let you know that JPAC Recovery Team will be going to Vietnam to try to locate and recover their remains.

Roswell Stevens Memorial No. 65978
It looks like Roswell Stevens (Stephens) has two memorials. One was created by "Mary Ann" 1-29-06 which is number 13172695.

She has the family links on her memorial. And you have the history. If you could follow the links and add them to your memorial. Roswell was married to Mary Ann Peterson (memorial 37570580) and parents were Roswell and Sybell Spencer Stevens. One of their children, Mary Rosetta Stevens Powell is my great grandmother.

Thanks much.
