My family and I enjoy researching our family history. We've found findagrave.com to be very helpful. If you have something to add to any of my postings, please contact me. I have, and encourage, a liberal transfer policy. If you are related and I'm not, a transfer is in order. Feel free to use any of my photos.|
Principle areas of research are Blinston(e), Hope, Connolly, Kasich, Hardin, Cornwall, Messinger, McCaleb/McKillop, Edwards, Wooton/Wooten, Willard.
Findagrave.com has become a mainstay of my family history research. Thanks to all my fellow findagraver's out there for the fabulous work you do. We all benefit from each other's work.

Not a problem.
I had been passing that marker for 3 years, always curious, but not prompted to investigate unil your request was filed.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered who it is.
Appreciate the kind words and the research involved was both informative and a lot of fun ..... I'll stay on hop of it .

Just a quick note to let ya know that I will be posting fotos tomorrow but not your normal type.
I located the marker but unfortunately it is lying face down. I attempted to upright it just for the foto but that was a no-go, to heavy and bulky.
So, I am gonna post (3) fotos to explain:
1- the marker
2- a cemetery listing of the area and the markers
in line with his per cemetery records.
3- a foto of markers, marked, that show his
location as proven by the listing around him.
I am over there every 2-3 of months. If the marker gets up-righted, then I will post the new foto.
If I can find a cemetery person on site, then I will inquire if they have any plans for it.
Well, that's the best I can do with what I have to work with but will keep checking.
Gotta go, wife sez supper is coming off the stove.

Hi Jim - You currently have a headstone photo for Rose Mary McVay on memorial 54810274. That memorial is unfortunately a duplicate for memorial number 28164993 (which was added a couple years earlier). Before I ask the memorial holder to delete the duplicate memorial, I was wondering if you could please move your headstone photo for Mary over to her original memorial (28164993). Could you please let me know when you do that so I can then send a little note to have the newer memorial deleted so we don't have two for her? Thank you very much!

Curious as to why you have photographed the Monez Family gravestones in St. Marys Cemetery. Is there a family connection?

#139733468 on Find A Grave states William Wray. My grandmother who came from Ireland to Aurora, NE. father was William Wray and her mother was Mary Jane Calhaun. Have you heard of them in your travels?

Thank you for adding this entry to the site- They are relatives of mine-I did not know where they were buried at until now. I do have details of Ellen Jane's tragic death though-

I am wondering if St. Peter's has a site on Find A Grave? I suspect that some of my ancestors are buried there. I have had great success with St.Mary's, Lymm! Many thanks for all the great work! Sincerely, Doreen Harrison.
Thanks so much for contributing these photos, and then transferring them to me. Peter and Selma are my great-grandparents.
