I would like to manage the memorial page for my parents, Donald and Phyllis Dancy. They are buried at Big Ridge Cemetery in Ashe County, NC.
My deepest condolences in the passing of your mother. May your memories give you comfort.

|LarryEldreth||Ruby R. Eldreth #103519184|
Greetings. My name is Larry Eldreth. I am working on my family name "Eldreth" - thanks for all the memorials you have created for my relatives in the Ashe County area of North Carolina! Unfortunately, I have discovered what appears to be a duplicate memorial for Ruby. Yours, #103519184, has much helpful information regarding Ruby. The other, #41256221, was created before yours but only has a copy of her death certificate shown. This one also has helpful information.
|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Forest Raymond Gallaher|
You have confused two Forest Gallaher's. This Forest Raymond Gallaher was a son of Preston & Belle (Sparks) Gallaher # 34503848. He was born in Illinois 16,Nov,1904 died 13,June,1995. The other Forrest Louis Gallaher was born 16,Sept,1908 died 24,Feb,1973 & is the son of Edward & Laura (Calvert) Gallaher of which you have this Forest linked. I should also point out that Forrest Louis Gallaher the correct son to Edward & Laura is also linked. Belle Priscilla (Sparks) Gallaher obituary on her memorial states her son Forest was living in Clifton,Ashe,NC at the time of death in 1951.
Thanks again for your help-connecting the family

|Tim Puckett||RE: Jacob|
Hi - transfer to me and Jim and I will work it out. I have a letter from one of the descendants and I may just update your site or have Jim elaborate. If I am confused by the two memorials, I know others are but some do not question and I just want to get it right and remove all confusion. Thanks.
|Tim Puckett||RE: Jacob|
Thanks for your response. I have gone back to the other manager.
I think the best solution is to combine the two Jacob's and put the plaques you have on your site onto the Jacob buried in Carroll County. We will see what Jim says about adding your info and boulder memorial to his site.
The problem with leaving your memorial active is it will still show as death and burial and people will still continue to add to their trees.
I will get back to you.
|Tim Puckett||Jacob "Jake" Puckett and Sarah "Sallie" Marshall Puckett|
This is a follow-on message send yesterday after obtaining additional information from a descendant of Jacob and Sarah - Shelby Inscore Puckett.
Your find-a-grave site is creating a lot of confusion - including me - some are documenting that Jacob and Sarah are buried in North Carolina. They are not. Jacob and Sarah are buried in Carroll County, Virginia. (Find A Grave Memorial# 1770233) It appears there are a lot of Puckett's buried on Elk River mountain (used to be called Puckett Mountain)outside of Banner Elk - children of Elijah Puckett and Sallie Snow Puckett.
Can you put something on your site or work with the other manager and combine the two sites. I think the metal pieces tacked to a boulder - one with the name of Jacob Puckett and the other with the Grandchildren of the Puckett's - is probably a reminder or memorial to let other Puckett's know who the parents were. But some are thinking they are buried in North Carolina and they are not.
Please let me know what you think.
|Tim Puckett||Jacob Puckett|
Hi - there is another Jacob Puckett born on the same day and died on the same day and buried in Carrol County, VA in a Jacob Puckett Cemetery. They are both married to Sarah Puckett. The one in Carroll County lists all the children and other names. I just can't figure out they can have identical information. Can you take a look at the other site and clear this up. The other Find A Grave memorial number is 17702335.
