I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Please do not add the following to any memorials I have created:
*Death Certificates. Nine times out of ten, I have seen the death certificate. The memorial was probably created from the death certificate. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.
*Scanned obituaries/announcements. Should you have an obituary, type it in a Word format and send it to me by Suggest any other correction or addition and I'll add it to the bio giving you credit. When I see scanned obituaries on my memorials, I will ask you to remove it or I will have it deleted by FAG.
*Funeral home photo's. Please don't upload these to my memorials. FAG's guideline states: Only post photos for which you hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)! and No photos taken from other web sites!!!

Hi Sue, Thanks for pointing out the Kizer and Kiser memorials. I deleted the Kisers tonight. Sandy
Hi Sue - thank you for your checking in on me! All is well here, had a nice visit with my parents this summer and boy did it go by fast. Hopefully by now the duplicate issue you mentioned has been resolved, but never fear - you know I won't clog my memorials with 'junk'. I like a story, not a list of census data. Hope all is well with you and yours and that you have had a great summer. I still plan to transfer Lincoln County to you, but haven't re-focused on that yet. Good to hear from you! Cheri

Thanks so very much for transferring Robert. The Mull family is an important part of my ancestry.
Best regards, Alan
|Steve Carrigan||RE: Mattie Lee Bame Sheppard Dehart|
Thank you very much. It gets confusing. I now need to go into Find A Grave and delete the record I created yesterday for Mattie Lee. I didn't think she had a listing because I was not looking under DeHart. Thank you for your help.

I am a relative of Mattie Lee Bame Sheppard Dehart. I added a couple of grave photos today and noticed that the last name on her grave marker is Sheppard and her actual last married name was DeHart. Can you edit her name to add in Sheppard since she is buried beside her first husband, Paul Sheppard and has the Sheppard name on her grave marker. Thank you very much.
|Bruce Gillett||RE: Gladys Ruth Butler Ferguson|
Thank you for the note. I have tracked down the source of the "Prine" and it appears to be an honest effort at family research. I hope to hear from the researcher soon! Bruce

Thank you for adding links to her mother and father. I see that her obit considers her mother to be Hazel "Prine" Butler. I'm pretty sure that's Palmer. I know Hazel's father was Orville Palmer (59572044) I haven't a clue how it ended up as Prine. I suggest you asterisk the obit with a note to this effect. Thanks, Bruce Gillett (2nd cousin once removed).

I am so sorry I forgot to put in the number so you would know to link her to her first husband who was killed in World War 11. He was David Henry Cline
Their daughter honored her father in Washington, DC.
As quickly as she is linked I will be most happy to remove it all.
