Bio Photo I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Re: Margaret Rankin
Thanks so much for trying to get a photo of her headstone. I don't understand why it isn't there though, her obituary says that there was a memorial graveside service. Thanks for your efforts anyway.

Sue so sorry, i just saw this message. I was with a friend one day just out taking pics and saw this church and cemetery. It is a very small cemetery and I am sure that I photographed each marker that I saw. Even looks like someone else has photographed it as well as I see his pics on the memorials as well as mine. I just added 1 interment, but photographed all I saw. Good Luck

Message on Memorial
I just stumbled onto this site last night and that information had already been listed for my mother (Edith Mae Hunter Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery) and my father (Ralph Alexander Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery). First, how do I post a picture of the grave memorial for my parents on this site (It is next to the grave memorial for my grandparents John Shipp and Ida Shipp - Lincoln County, North Carolina, St. James UMC Cemetery). Second, how do I ensure that the middle name for my grandfather is corrected. It is listed as John Craven Shipp but his middle name is Cravor. My father gave me his middle name so I have it on great information that the correct middle name is Cravor and not Craven. I have also had to correct it in a couple of times as well. Thank you again for your work. Sebastian Shipp

John Curtis Gore - 111635940
Hello, could you please transfer "John Curtis Gore" #111635940 to me? He is my brother, and I am trying to connect all of my family together. I appreciate you taking the time to create a memorial page for him. It was very kind of you. Thanks a bunch...Jill

RE: Vinna Young Willix
thank you. I would be more than happy to take care of it. Anything for my sweetheart. You are very correct, she and I had a beautiful, amazing relationship. One that will never be lost or forgotten. She was my world, and I was her baby. (Not really, I am her grand daughter. One of about 80 or more but I was her favorite) I had previously typed you a very long message, sharing stories of some of our precious time together, but, something happened to my laptop, and it was all erased. It is good that you can relate to a relationship like I had with Mammaw my Love (That was my name for her. If I called her anything else she would scold me) lol. She was truly the strongest, smartest, most beautiful soul I have ever known. I am blessed that her blood runs through my veins and the memory of her is in my heart. Because I was the one she chose to cling to, hold on to, and pass down her wisdom and she shared her whole heart with me. Nothing compares to the love and relationship of a grandmother and her grandchild. NOTHING!!!! I am absolutely positive of that. You have this with your grandchildren, and you and them are very blessed. Cherish that for as long as you live, and I promise you, they will be enriched with a love and bond that most people can only dream of.
Mammaw my Love made me many promises, and I made her promises too. She never ever went back on one, she fulfilled each and every promise she ever made me, and I have done the same. One last promise I haven't fulfilled, I promised to meet her in heaven. And I will. I live for the day when I can hug her again. She promised me that she would always be with me. Even if I cant see her, or hear her, I will always be able to feel her near me. I have to believe that, she wouldn't ever tell a lie. I admire you for knowing and relating to the message I wrote. Most people think I'm just crazy, but they just don't understand the love between a grandmother and her grandchild.
