Hi to all our Find-A-Grave Members out there.|
I was born and raised in Indiana although my family Line on the Biddle side has ties to, Maryland, Pensylvania, Ohio and Indiana.
My Lamphiear ties, are from Vermont, Washington, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana.
My Farthing ties are thru my Grandmother, and her family has ties thru Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana.
I try to keep up-to-date on my family lines, sometimes I fall way behind in my research.
I'm not one to hold back info, when I get a request to help with a family connection, I try to be thorough and help lead them on the right path.
I have been using this site for many years, way before I finally registered, I have seen Memorial Mongers who are out to get the most Memorial's (Is there as Race)?
There is also Transcribers good and bad, The normal transcriber on here is either working for a local historical community or one who doesn't care abt. who gets records as long as they get the feeling of helping someone out in their history. (Then) you get the Transcribers who thinks it makes a name for them, they don't care if your a 1st cousin to a memorial, if they have a relationship thru a 5th cousin, they more less say I added this and your not going to take it from me.
It never has been about how many I get, I will gladly transfer any memorial I have who has a closer relationship, my only concern is the memorial stays in the family, not by someone playing the numbers game.
Oh Yeah! also the people who use the c copyright on there images, I bet our government would make a killing on people who falsify their c copyright illegally, This program is all about cherishing our past loved ones, and helping to carry on their Legacies, I don't see for any reason that I would copy (for instance) my sister's memorial for either a name recognition or a value, she is my beloved sister and I want to share with everyone to help carry on her legacy why she was here with her loved one.
On Memorial Transfers, Please list how you are related to the Memorial you would like to have transferred to you, not only does it save my time trying to figure out if you are related, but it ensures our family memorials stay in our family.
Future Memorial Request with out family connections will be referred to read my profile.

Thanks for your help with these memorials. It is impossible for me to sort them on my own. Your help and Darla's mean much to me.
I am assuming that you may be the one who requested a headstone photo for his memorial.
Would you let me know when it has been fulfilled?
I live near Alexander Cemetery and saw your photo request for John Biddle (1867-1927). I noticed that there was a problem with locating the grave in Alexander Cemetery. You may have already solved the mystery of his burial, but I spoke to a man locally whose name is ironically John Biddle. He is related to these Biddle's. He showed me information that Dr. John Biddle was buried in Mound Hill Cemetery in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was a physician there for years. If you check find-a-grave under Mound Hill Cemetery in Gallipolis you will find him and his wife Elizabeth listed, but no markers are shown. The birth years are correct. To verify more information go to the website below and it tells about Dr. Biddle and the complete dates for birth and deaths match the person you are searching for. His middle name is Sabine. http://www.galliagenealogy.org/medical.htm Hope this helped. Rick

Glenn, links made. More than happy to transfer if you would like. She is unrelated.
Yes - Rosebud Cemetery serves the town of Absarokee in Stillwater County. It's a few miles south of town, across from the turnoff to Fishtail!
