I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

I WISH IT WAS AS EASY AS YOU IMPLY ..
PEOPLE MAKE UP MEMORIALS FOR THE CEMETERY THEY
BELIEVE THEY ARE IN ..THEY WANT THEIR "OWN"
CEMETERY ..THEY NEVER CHECK CEMETERY NAMES ..
THE OBITUARY IS NOT THE SOURCE OF THE CORRECT
INFORMATION ..FIND-A-GRAVE COULD DO A BETTER
JOB OF "NAME" CONTROL ..THERE ARE IN ACTUAL
FACT ..FOUR CEMETERY NAMES FOR THAT SAME
SITE THAT IS ON WILLIAMS BRANCH RD ..I DO NOT
KNOW WHO HAS THE FINAL SAY IN A COMMUNITY AS TO
THE NAME OF A CEMETERY ..IT BECOMES MORE DIFFICULT
WHEN A "FAMILY" CEMETERY BECOMES A "PUBLIC"
CEMETERY ..I JUST GAVE SWEET HELEN HER PICTURE.

Thank you for that info. I placed his memorial in that cemetery because his father was listed in it. I would move his memorial but don't have a clue as to where to move it to, as there is more than one Anderson Cemetery in Barnardsville. Thank you for trying to help me. It is appreciated.

So sorry about that, sometimes when you check to see if a person is already on findagrave, they don't always show up. I have deleted her. Thank you for letting me know. Have a blessed day. Gloria. :)
|Record Keeper||William E Meeks|
Thank you for bringing to my attention the mistake I made with William Meek's mother.
That is how we are going to get this sacred work accompolished, to help each other.

I thank you very much and the Ledford stalker does too. Have a wonderful day!
|Suzzette G Yandle||Fannie Travis Shook|
Thanks for your e-mail re: Fannie Travis Shook. It is always nice to be able to confirm a burial location. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know about the headstone. Hope you have a great week.

Sue, I think I have looked at every Sparks in Yancey County, but I haven't found anything that I could link to Sarah Sparks. I haven't tried Mitchell County so I will do some research on it. Yes the 1890 census would have been nice. Thanks again for the help.
|SMB||RE: Ann McCurry|
Thank you so much. I'm going to try that with my other grandparents.
