Thank-you so very much for the WHITAKER transfers.....Donna
When I told my mother I thought our family roots twisted all over the place, she said we were like tumbleweeds - always moving around and bouncing off each other.
I just wanted to thank you for the transfer of my great great grandfather Charles Frederick Mackel 52441157, my great great grandmother Lucy Matilda Fortner Mackel 52441163, and their son - my great uncle Joseph Mackel 52441162.
I still have to get all the updated done for their other 9 kids, but this was a great start.

Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Samuel Edwards # 19269728
& his wife
Samantha Caroline Maxwell Edwards # 19269727
to my care. I have successfully connected them with parents, spouses and children. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorials.
With sincerest appreciation,
I did leave a msg on her page. Just a great story - what a nice thing for her to do.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful information with me. I added your information to Mr. Goodman's memorial.
John, I will delete mine and make a note to look for the photo to add to existing memorial. ger

Thank you for the picture! I did then put the month and date of 1849, as the stone says. The Indiana Death record says he was older than what the stone says.
