Bio and Links
Bio Photo Grandma Mac (Elizabeth Ella Kellogg MacFaddin) was the genealogist of the family. She got the "bug" from her father. She kept all her research in an old black suitcase. There were notes on all sorts of scraps of paper – the back of a grocery list, used envelopes and even a bank statement here and there. Her handwriting was neat and dainty. She would come down from Fresno and Daddy would drive her in to the Los Angeles Main Library to spend all day there working on her research. When she passed away in 1970 the suitcase was put away, until my sister took up the task in 1999, of sorting through all of Grandma's bits and bobs of information.

I personally had no interest in genealogy. That is until 2008 when quite by accident, I found my Dad's name in another family tree. So it's not my fault that I've become obsessed with the family history. I have a need to connect the dots.

Back to Grandma Mac, wouldn't she just have a field day with all the information that is at our fingertips today? Many thanks go out to all the volunteers through the various groups, like Find A Grave that give their time to help put the family puzzles together.

Names I am researching: MacFaddin/McFaddin or McFadden, Boynton, Breed, Caldow, Clark, Cody, Higgins, Hiscock, Houghton, Kellogg, Rathermel, Sairs, Schuck and Wilder.

Note of Appreciation,
Good morning, Margi,
WOW What a magnificent photographer you are !!!
Great photos of the Ethel (Rainbolt)(Spezia)
Pleasants headstone... I wasn't even aware of the 3rd husband {PLEASANTS} ???? Well, back to the drawing board !!!! If you are ever up for a challenge, let me know... I would absolutely like to get ALL the headstone photos for Fort Rosecrans (San Diego) done.. I understand between Find A Grave and various VA sources, there are almost 100,000 people NOT accounted for... What a shame... Again, my deepest appreciation for your help / assistance,
RAINBOLT Family Historian,
R S Feigh

Margi, Thank you, thank you, thank you. The pictures are splendid, wonderful, beautiful. I didn't think I'd find Eugenia when she died in California where the cemeteries are huge. Now I have pictures of her grave marker. It made my day. Thank you again. Wilda

Thank you Margi for taking the time again to help me memorialize this family. Their home is a museum in California, I felt they should be memorialized too.

Here is William's Grandfather's memorial #59032225, I have provided a link from each immediate family members (10 children) memorial enabling a tour of their home built in 1898. Enjoy.

Thank you,
Arizona Caretaker
