I now live in Michigan but was born in Walton County, Georgia.|
On my maternal side, family names include Burgess, Elder, Michael, Fambrough, Lowe and Maxey - primarily in Walton, Oconee, Clarke, Oglethorpe and Greene Counties in Georgia. The families arrived in America before the Revolution. I have several books covering those families and am happy to do look-ups.
My parvenu paternal side arrived from Ireland in the 1850s and 1860s, settling in Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey. Surnames include Donnelly, Hughes, Casey, McGarrity and Holleran.
I would be happy to help with research in my local area and exchange information about family connections. As most grave sites are in deep snow here in western Michigan November through March, I can be of more help in Spring and Summer.
With a very few exceptions, I am happy to transfer any memorial not of my direct family line. The exceptions are a few very close friends or family members with a special connection.
A message including the word "please" will receive a much better reception.
I owe many thanks to the FindAGrave photo volunteers who have so kindly assisted in the compilation of the history of my family lines.
Happy searching and enjoy the chase!

Just noticed your location. Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery is in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware.

Thank you for the link. "Wil & B" on the death cert. for place of burial is short for "Wilmington & Brandywine Cemetery". He does not have a memorial on Find A Grave. I'll leave it to you to create.

Hello, I am not related. Respectfully, I have many generations of ancestors lineage (8) for the referenced, the wife of Memorial# 51472923. this message is FYI. You may either access the ancestry tree on my profile, ask permission if needed, or I can send info. The project is explained on my FAGr profile. I took on a cemetery to with my Find A Grave photos.
Thanks for your time

Hope you are doing well in Michigan. My name is Judi King Churchill. I am in Atlanta, Ga.
I was going through my grandmother's (Jesse Sorrow Kell) photographs. I would like to get the non family pictures to their rightful families.
I have a picture that says "Burgess children" on the back. I remember my grandmother had a childhood friend named Gussie Burgess. My gm and Gussie were members of Maxey Christian Church. It is a lovely picture of several teenagers probably from the 1920s. There are no individual names or dates on the picture.
I noticed you are also related to the Gillens and Kings. My maiden name is King. I have a picture of Hattie Kell Gillen (she was my gfather's sister) if you are interested.
Let me know if you have interest in the pictures and I will scan them for you.
Anyone reading this email is welcome to write me at Judikc2@aol.com.

I'm pretty sure Merf added the info. for the father since she is usually the one who adds that info. supposedly from funeral records. I removed him.

Sadly I don't save the photos so I'll see what I can do about updating the info on the original one and delete the one I created when I'm done. Chances are this can occur again as the grave doesn't have their full name. Something I can totally understand due to it is rather long.
