Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please let me know if any of my memorials need correction. If I've made a duplicate it was accidental and I'll gladly remove mine if you let me know. For corrections, to add additional information please use the Edit tab on the memorial.

Please, please, please -- Don't scrape headstones or use shaving cream, chalk or anything else to "enhance" the inscription. Regardless of what you have been told it does not wash completely off and causes long term damage. There are other ways to get a good photograph without harming the stone. And even though it's sad, some markers will never be legible.

Due to bad behavior by a few contributors, I will usually transfer memorials only within Find A Grave's 4-generation rule. I'm sorry that a few have spoiled it for others.

I do NOT link to "burial unknowns"; however I will make appropriate notes in the bio field. Otherwise I'll gladly make family links.

If you would like to use my photos please ask first. I will almost always give permission as long as photo credit is given to the Find A Grave memorial.

Many thanks to all who have helped me along the way. I hope to be able to pay it forward.

Note: I am doing random corrections of memorials with no last name. Nothing personal, please take no offense. Thank you.

No Last Name
Thank you for catching a couple of my "no last name" entries. Nice to have someone politely double-check!

RE: Gitler
yes, that was an "oops". I thought I had deleted it, but ... well, obviously I hadn't.

Thanks for alerting me.

Best wishes,

RE: Dimples Thompson
Anytime, my friend! I wish I could have found it; I looked and there may have been a marker that was just lost- the church would have the records to find the exact spot. But, I didn't see it myself.

Thanks for the information on Alfred & Edith. To bad so many memorials have only first names or Mother & Father. I had to check where your information came from because to many "guesses" come in on some memorials. I have not entered the full cemetery yet but someday I want to track down the records and add those who have no markers.
Thanks again for your help

Re: Bridget Walsh (1856-1920)
Hi! Did you send me an update in 2014 for her as far as knowing her parents?

RE: Milo Pelton Edits
I think I got it right this time. Sorry for the confusion. Too many Milos or something.

RE: Milo Pelton Edits
Thanks for your message. I will send correct edit.

Yes, I am researching all the descendants of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Pelton) of Sangerfield, Oneida, NY. They are fourth great grandparents. It is a big job as they had 12 chidlren and all but two married and had big families! I am 75% of the way towards completion (ha ha) and will post on Ancestry when I am done.

Thanks so much for all you've done on Find A Grave. It is a great asset to the researcher.I call it "ground truth."

Milo M. Gibson
Good morning-
Not sure where our data conflicts:

Milo Gibson ( 66216654 ) married Lizzie Truax (66216879 ) on 10 Dec 1873 in Flint, Genesee, Michigan.

Harriet Melissa Truax born 10 Jul 1855, died 27 Jan 1924 was daughter of Mathias Tice Truax and Betsey Fifield Truax.

Apparently Harriet Melissa went by Lizzie.
