FIND A GRAVE's FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT MISSION IS TO LOCATE THE BURIAL THEN RECORD ALL THE OTHER STUFF.
WE DON'T RECORD ALL THE OTHER STUFF THEN HOPE TO LOCATE THE BURIAL.
Please use the new EDIT system when requesting factual updates and family links. Please note that I will not link to a burial unknown.
I do NOT require, nor should any member on this site require a source of information before processing your edit request.
I will gladly share my photos with anyone that wishes to use them. The only thing I ask is that you respect my time and efforts in obtaining, editing and uploading my photos. Please message or e-mail me first with your request to use my photos. Thank You!
Before you request a transfer of a memorial, ask yourself if you really need the memorial transferred. There is an abundance of information (including family links) that can be sumbitted for correction on ANY memorial that exists on this site, whether managed by an active or inactive member. The new EDIT system should really negate MOST transfer request's. And it is because of the new EDIT system that I have chosen not to transfer outside of Find a Grave guidelines. A memorial does NOT need to be transferred in order for corrections or family links to be done.
To request a transfer, please make sure that you submit your request by clicking on the EDIT tab on the memorial and then select Suggest any other correction or addition. Please make sure to state your relationship, reason for transfer and include your contributor ID.

Thank for removing it. I do understand the issue. I too search with variations of a name when I create a memorial. Sometime I enter just the first letter of the name and then look at the years (if the cemetery is small enough). And the reason I called it a duplicate is that it was a 2nd memorial for the same person. This family was uneducated and left the spelling to the person doing the writing. I have found it spelled many more ways than you researched...Firgusen, Furgisen, Fergosin, etc.
I appreciate the message and your kindness for my Great Grand Aunt's memory.

Chris, Holland Brewer was my ggg-grandfather. I would like permission to use your photo of his headstone to attach to my family tree on ancestry.com. Thanks very much.
