Bio Photo Retired and loving it. Now I have time to work on my genealogy as well as gardening. The weather & soil where we live now enables me to grow many things and am now learning how to can this bounty. Nothing tastes as good as a home grown tomato!!

RE: Robert L Adkins
go to Robert's memorial and select the tab that says 'edit'. . .leave your message there. This way I will have a link to his interment. You should also leave your member # so I can have it for the transfer.

RE: Oakes & McLaughlin
I feel fairly certain, but have no proof, that the Andrew McLaughlin buried in Madison Cemetery in Jackson Co., Ohio, is the son of Aaron McLaughlin and his first wife Hiley Ann Corn. Aaron is shown in the 1860 census as having a son named Andrew. In the 1870 census Emma Oakes is shown as a domestic living in the household of another family. I could not find an Oakes family in that enumeration. Hope this helps. Kyle G.
