You are very welcome; at least it may be a comfort to know it is a beautiful place to spend eternity together.

Hi Jerry,
The one cool thing I did get out of that trip was the date they both passed away. I was waiting for findagrave to add those dates, but I see that they have added them now. Hope that may help at least a little bit. It is a beautiful cemetery and very well kept. You are very welcome.

Sincerely,
Becky

Jerry,
Since my last message, I have photographed maps of the cantonment at Ft. Crawford and the approximate location of the cemetery. I have also obtained burial records for Mr. Mitchell and photographed them as well.
To the best of my knowledge, Mr. Mitchell is still interred in what is now a corn field with no possibility of photographing an actual burial plot. Would you like to have the photos I have taken?

Laramie Co. FAG photo Sam. Danforth
I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers' that had ties to Vt. Samuel Danforth is one such patriot. May I use the photo you have contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial page, to post on the Vt. C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
