I was born in Austin, Texas and lived most of my life in Austin and San Antonio and now live near Anchorage, Alaska. There are 3 major cemeteries in the area and I will gladly fulfill any photo requests at Fort Richardson, Anchorage, and Angelus Cemeteries if the weather permits, since there is snow on the ground 6 months out of the year here.|
My ancestral roots are mainly out of Bell and Palo Pinto Co., Texas and the cemeteries there make up most of the final resting spots for grandparents and beyond.
One of my hobbies is taking and collecting photos of my ancestors final resting spots, no matter how modest the headstone is, or even a lack of one.
As a final word, please use the photos I have provided as you wish. I take them because I love doing it for people and that's what they're here for! Copyright means nothing to me!

Sometimes when a photographer has a falling out with Find A Grave, the volunteer, like a small child having a tantrum, takes their photos off of the website. Why I have no idea. Trust me, when I am no longer active here....I may be gone but the pictures I post will stay.

Jon, you created a memorial for Hartwell C. Kyle in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, Lubbock, Texas. He is not buried in this cemetery. I notice that he died in Belen, New Mexico. Could he possible be buried there?

Thank you so very much for a picture of my dad's headstone. I live in NC and was 15 when my father died, we were not able to go to his funeral and I'm not sure if I will ever be able to visit. But your picture means the world to me. email@example.com Diana Pittman

Thanks Jon! That is a great idea!
I will definitely look into that next spring if the requests haven't been fulfilled by someone else.

I'm sorry for my delayed response. I'm a little bit unorganized and I also never have the time or Internet access to research and respond to everything I want to respond to. I have ADD to a fault and can never get anything done.. but when I do you can bet it's done perfectly ;).
I will see if I can connect this to my grandparents. I will have to wait until after November 7th because our Internet is limited here..
|Desertthorn||Laredo Cemetery Photo Request|
I am going to go to Laredo next Spring and plan to try to knock out some of the photo requests while I am there. I see you have a very old request, could you possibly try to get the plot number for me as its a huge cemetery, and I'll try to take a photo.
Thank you so much for taking the photo of my great, great grandfather's grave. It means a lot. Thanks, again.
