Keeping the memory and information about our family members "alive" should be a goal that we all have.
Unless "we" make some major contribution in our lifetime, most of the information about us is just known within our own family and after several generations the information fades and then it is gone!
Thanks to Find A Grave for allowing us to share this information with each other now, and for future generations to use in their genealogy research.
I find it very hard to write something about myself but since I am one of those persons who never made a major contribution to the world, I figured I had better leave a short review about myself. As of this posting, May 2007, I have been married to the same wonderful lady for 40 years. We have two great sons', Todd and Brett and one fabulous grandson, Tyler. My working life was spent with the Wichita Public School system (1965 - 1996), first as a secondary science teacher and then as a secondary building administrator.
My wife and I now spend our time traveling, taking care of our grandson, and just enjoying our free time. Good luck in your research with your family history, and again thank you to Find-A-Grave for allowing all to contribute to this enterprise.
This paragraph was added, November 2001. Since this is Find-A-Grave and I am still alive, I wanted to leave a message for current and future readers about "my" grave location. I have just purchased space for my mortal remains in an older community mausoleum. Old Mission Mausoleum was started in 1918 and completed in 1954 with the addition of the fourth and final unit and a total expenditure of more than one million dollars. I have researched the history of this structure and its builder of 36 years, this information along with photos can be viewed at this link.
Eternity and Me!
Added, May 2009: I have just received word from the United States Department of the Interior, that my application to have the Old Mission Mausoleum placed on the National Register of Historic Places has been approved!

 | RE: Miller grave photos You're welcome, I'm gald I could help! Also, Dave I was curious about Eugene Mason listed on the tombstone. Under his name it says,"Patient". My first thought was that maybe his last name was Miller and he was the son of John and Susan. But I found a memorial page set up for him, with the last name Mason, so I added the photo to his page as well. So you can check that out too. I hope that helps! | | | | [View all messages...] |
