Bio and Links
Bio Photo I will stop at almost any cemetery in Salem County, NJ and photograph tombstones, most of my entries are not related. All of these are added to Find A Grave to share with others.

Please feel free to use the photos I have posted on any Find A Grave memorial, BUT please give credit to me by showing "photo by Find A Grave member 46831114". I take them to share with others but ask that you be courteous about their use.

If I have created any memorials of your relatives and you would like to manage them I'd be more than happy to transfer them upon request...just tell me how you are related when you make your transfer request.

Please DO NOT add death certificates to the memorials I have created. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.

Smith and Justice
Smith and Justice are not in my tree so you please add those.

I'm going to take a guess that Elizabeth's "S" middle name might be the maiden name of Smith which will help me with my research.

Thank you again for the photos and for letting me know of the others you found.

Thank you very much for these Benner photos.

To my knowledge the Bells are not in my tree. So please, you go ahead and enter them in.

Thank you again. Your time is appreciated.

Tony Howard Hughes
Hi, Deb.
Thank you so much for the photo of Tony's headstone. I had been hoping for a photo of his marker for a long time. I really appreciate it!
Sincerely,
John

Thank You
Thank you for fulfilling my request (very quickly!) to photograph the memorial of my grandfather's sister Ann Wolverton at East View Cemetery in New Jersey. I live in Detroit Michigan and have been researching my family's genealogy. It took me some time to track Aunt Ann down because she spent all of her adult life in Detroit. Turns out her husband's family had origins in New Jersey and that is how she ended up there as her final resting place. Volunteers like you are so helpful. I am very grateful.

RE: Thank you!
It was after 4 pm and I had been driving around all day, so I was kind of overwhelmed with the large cemetery. The other ones I went to were much smaller. I appreciate your efforts. I remember you were the 1st Find A Grave contributor to transfer family memorials to me (Aldine UMC). You also told me how to use the Edit Tab when I was a newby. People like you are what make the site a pleasure to work with.

RE: East View Graves
Hi, Deb
I put in the photo requests for Ellen Harris Kirby and her parents - Amos Howard (died 1935) and Bertha. I'm a Kirby descendant and Ellen is the 1st relative I have found at East View. Her son Howard is up the road at the Salem Veterans Cemetery.
There is a big horizontal multi-burial stone for a Charles Kirby and his family, but I have no idea who they are. That is the only Kirby the cemetery guy knew about (already photographed on Find A Grave).
Thank you for your help.
I had a good time driving all over Salem County on Monday - Aldine, Friesburg, Quinton, East View - the real hinterlands where a lot of my relatives were farmers.
Peace, Susan
