Bio Photo Please note that if you like to maintain management of a relative/family member memorial page that I have submitted you can contact me at my e-mail address below. Please give me their name and memorial number and your name and member number and I can transfer it to you.

Remember: I simply started the process and the family member/relative is the best one to maintain it.

Please give me you e-mail address so I can contact you with other possible information that might be available now or in the future.

I will try to help out on local requests for monument searches. If given a death date I can try to locate information for obits as well.

The cemeteries are Best Cemetery, Hillcrest Cemetery, New Lutheran Cemetery, Old Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Prospect Hill Cemetery, and St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. These are in Norfolk, Nebraska
(Madison County).

Other cemeteries in Madison County, Nebraska will done as time permits.

First I need to tell you a secret, I walked this cemetery with my grandmother back in the 1960's. Because I liked to make lists this is a cemetery I made lists of the dead in my newly learned shorthand. I kept the list and when findagrave came along I realized why. In most case in the beginning I did not know 99% of the people, Since the connections apt that was added and my ancestry I have added more information.
Plus what nice people like you have feed me in connections and information. I found her and her parents on findagrave and have just now made her connections with her parents. Thank you so very much.

Richard, it has come to my attention that their are two find a graves for Gertrude Chittenden.
This one is where her bodied is buried : http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=151916864 . Yours is of her first husband, Ray Marr, but she is not buried there. You might want to make a note of that on your Find a Grave for Melvina "Gertrude" Chittenden Marr at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=87861890.

Richard,

Thanks very much again for taking the pictures of his headstone. I really appreciate your help with this, especially with the distance between there and where we live. Thanks again and take care.
