Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, The last fourteen years I have been working on burial lists and photographing cemeteries in Tippecanoe County Indiana. I've enjoyed adding them online to Findagrave. With help from several folks, we're almost done with the 135 cemeteries on our list, see my link.

My webpage shows my projects where I've restored a few cemeteries in this County. Tippecanoe County Indiana Cemetery Restoration Project I have recorded the GPS locations on about 129, except for a handful of destroyed locations. You will find my overall photographs of each cemetery on about 90% of Tippecanoe County sites here on Findagrave or on my page linked above. Many are now buried below other photos. For updates to my entries, PLEASE use the EDIT buttons.

I will be happy to update and add your family links. You may add your own photographs or original obituaries and let me know about updating information through the Edit buttons. I am currently working on Greenbush, Springvale and St.Boniface cemeteries in Lafayette. Several people have helped to finish Ruth Neuman's 2003 project on Springvale. Thank you all for your continued help with your photographs.

I will go back and delete dups for Springvale that were created before their duplicate system changed.

There are many errors in all the records that were used, also in the old readings too. They reflect differently between the tombstones, obituary or other records. Please help me make this information better by adding your gravestone photographs. Or send me details of the proof you have found.

While your out in the cemeteries, take time to look for the handcarved rocks and homemade tombstones as they mark the graves of someones early ancestors. Handcarved tombstones They may have just been passing through on thier way to the West. Please don't move them, but photograph them for record preservation. I've found several and usually do find handcarved and home-made stones too.
I'm grateful to Findgrave for this site and opportunity to share the history. Our cemeteries are still distroyed everyday. So please take the time to contribute in your area if you can. It helps preserve family history for everyone and future generations who comes searching later.

I am a Genealogist with the & Tippecanoe County Area Genealogical Society (TIPCOA), Indiana Genealogy Society and volunteer at the Research Library at the Tippecanoe County Historical Association.
