Pam McKay
Couraud Family
Hello Larry,
Thank you for reaching out to me. My husband Don McKay is the son of Ruth Couraud Mckay, who is the daughter of Octave and Zetta Couraud. Ruth just turned 90 years old and is currently living in Arkansas close to her daughter Mary.
I started adding pictures to my family 'Leedy' and decided to add pictures for Ruth.

If you want to manage the Couraud's that would be great. I would be happy to send any pictures or information we have. We just received more info on the Couraud's and I remember reading about the Pace family, now I will have to go back and refresh since you gave me a connection :).

Let me know how I can help.
Sincerely, Pam McKay

Wellington Hawley
Hi Larry,
Thanks for taking the time to provide a great photo of Wellington's and his wife's grave. You also captured that of their infant son which is to the left Rose.

RE: Sarah Jacobs
You made my day, too! Perhaps you heard my scream all the way there in Colorado!

Sarah Jane Jacobs was the daughter of Absalom McDaniel and Mary Polly Wolfskill. Absalom was born between 1790 & 1793 in Wythe Co, VA; Mary Polly was his second wife, born 15 Apr 1802 in Madison Co, KY,died 20 Jan 1895 in Livingston Co, MO. Her second husband was Solomon Lewis, 1791-?

Sarah Jane's sister Elizabeth married Daniel Wesley Singleton; her brother Milton McDaniel married Sarah Davis. They are also in Cameron Cemetery.

I am looking for her brother William 1821-? as well as her half-brothers Amon, b. 1816 Wythe Co, VA, and Pleasant, b. 1818 Chariton Co, MO.

Their father Absalom died in Vicksburg, MS in 1829. His father Columbus McDaniel is our g-g-g-grandfather.

If you subscribe to Ancestry.com, our entire family tree is there under McDaniel-McDonald/Sutton-Peterson. If you don't, we have a family webpage: Mcdanielsofvirginia.com.

Finding Sarah was a real treasure hunt discovery!

Please continue to manage her place. There is a huge number of Singletons and Hawkins looking for her, too.

Here's my ordinary email: marypeterson@cfl.rr.com

Please send me yours so I can add you to my list.

Thanks, MaryP

Sarah Jacobs
Thank you so much for photographing her stone. She is the daughter of our long-lost g-g-grandfather's brother.
