I am a southern Pennsylvania resident and have been doing genealogy for more than 20 years, primarily on my mother's family. Her maiden name was Comer and she was born in Grayson County, VA. My sister, Linda, and her daughter, Shari, help me by taking many of the photos of the grave markers/stones and adding them to this website. They are a tremendous help to me.
If you would like for me to transfer to you any of your kinfolk that I have entered, please click the "EDIT" tab at the top of the memorial, then click "Suggest a Correction, etc." and, after entering your request, click "SEND". Find-A-Grave will then automatically email me with the memorial number you requested and your contributor number included. It is not necessary for you to type those numbers in if you use the EDIT tab. BTW, I am not too fussy or nitpicky about your relationship to the person you request since it's hard for me to fathom that you would want to manage the memorial of a person who is not related to you. I would like to think that your intentions are good and honest. So, with that said, I would be happy to transfer anyone as long as I am not related to him/her/it also.
Incidentally, please do not send the names of children to be posted to the bio of a memorial. It creates an additional burden that is difficult to keep up with. I will, however, link any family members if I am able to.
Also, most of the memorials I create are from the individual's death certificate. I post only the basic data that I find to include the person's full name, full birth/death dates, where born and where died, the name of the spouse(s) and the cause of death, primarily if it's accidental. I realize the info is not always accurate but at least it's a start. I will not post the death certificate to the memorial since I consider them to be relatively private and personal. There are often words and descriptions on the forms that I'm sure the survivors would not desire to have publicized.
Btw, I have found that the death dates listed on the certificates are generally very accurate and if they're off, it's usually only by a day or two. More often, the grave marker is in error when there is a conflict with the death certificate.
Zion United Methodist Cemetery,Surry County NC Hi, I would like to start off with a big thank you for what you do. I was looking for my grandparent's grave sites, I knew what cemetery but I was not sure where, because no markers were put up to identify the graves (long before my time). I found my grandfather's but my grandmother's was not listed. Her name is Elizabeth Edwards and as far as I know she died in 1946. Her husband was Arthur Benjamin Edwards. I was wondering if you could help me find out if she is buried in that cematery. It is Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Surry County NC. Again thank you very much for all you do. Michelle Edwards
Cynthia, Myrtle, Stella, Brenda Gambill Thanks a million for the transfer of the Gambills, I have updated them and corrected Stella's info, she was Dean and Estella granddaughter and Myrtle's daughter.
Again, thanks, I truly appreciate you for all your assistance as I research, locate and put my family together.

Moses Chester Stine Thank you for sending the corrections to the dates of birth and death I had in his memorial. I have no idea how I typed those dates. I have the correct dates in my database, with his death certificate as my source.
