My daughter and I were so excited when we found your relation Amanda b. 1850. Her grave marker is buried flat in the ground, we took a picture, and put on her memorial in Find a grave if you would like to see it.
|Viola Mullen||Alice Pitts born 1869|
Alice is buried in Sardis Cem. This is one of my lines, and I have spent quite a bit of time on it.
Alice was born and died in Fleming Co., Ky. Her parents were Lewis Bullet Heflin and Nancy Isabell Easton Heflin. So her maiden name was Heflin. I also have all her children if you are interested.

I found the obit for William and his daughter Sylvia tonight. Since you have some of his children, I thought you might like the rest of them.
When Willie died he had 6 children still alive. You have 2 of them. Here are the other 4.
1.) Thomas W. Brown of Morehead
2.) Eva L. Stainslawezyk Of Mt. Clemons, Mich.
3.) Roy Lee Brown of Manchester
4.) Edna Jane Croghan of Kettering, Ohio
His sister still alive Mrs. Missouri Riggs of

First,let me thank you again for the memorials.It is so nice to find the resting place of our ancestors. My connection is from the Hurst of Fleming,Bath,and Shelby Co.,KY.
My question is the middle name of George Landers Hamm,1864-1938 Memorial#42433514,Mount Carmel Cemetery,Fleming County,Kentucky. Do you by chance if there is a Family Connection to the name Landers.I ask because my mother's maiden name was Landers of Owen,Henry,and Shelby County,KY.My father Lucien Owen Palmer,son of Myrtle Hurst,married Kathryn Landers of Shelby County,KY.Lucien was living with his family in Simpsonville,Shelby Co.,Ky.Grandfather Joseph A"Joe"Hurst who married Mary BEAR. The Landers name caught my attention. Any responce would be appreciated.Again Thank You
