|Started working on my grandparents, Metcalf & Strong which has led to primarily Brumback, Wilson, Smith, Hughes, Pierson, Bullock, Simpson, Bowles on the Metcalf side & who knows next .... The Strong side has led me into Owsley & Breathitt Co's. & many last names there. Breathitt Co is where my 5th great's William & Jane "Callahan" Strong settled after coming from Va in 1801. I live in Northern Ky but try to visit cousins in Jackson Co (where I was born) & visit cemeteries of relatives. While there, we photo & collect info of all to try and preserve history. My cousin's grandson, Luke (14) uses my camera & takes the pics while we prep the stones. He's taken about 90% of the pics taken. Thanks Luke. Have branched out to my cousin's side's, (as we have all worked on this together) Johnston, Johnson, Boggs, Madden, Williams, Wilson & much more which have led me into Franklin & Fayette Co's, Ind.|
12-2014. I've been working on the Asbury Methodist Church Cem for the last four months, (I attend this church), because the cemetery records were lost. I've finished as much as I can find & will put a copy in the church office shortly.

Hello Samuel Johnston is my great, great Grandfather..
|Carol S||Katherine Spitz|
Good catch. Thanks for letting me know. I deleted the misspelled one. We have had an unseasonably warm spell most of this week. Highs close to 60. And sunny. Helped melt the valley snow but did a number on the ski mountain. Luckily it cooled off last night. High near 30 today. Was up skiing today. Mixed conditions on the slopes. Skiing was best day this week.

This is the wrong Edward Strong #119534140. This Edward is Edward "Red Ned" Strong son of William Blackburn and Jemima Jane Deaton Strong. Married to Nancy Haddix and both are buried in the Strong Cemetery, Lost Creek, Breathitt County, Kentucky
The father of Alexander is also Edward Strong and the son of William and Susan Jane Callahan Strong.
Edward Strong is the father of William Blackburn and William Strong.
You need to take Edward "Red Ned" Strong off as the father of Alexander Strong. Alexander and Sarah Jane Chambers Strong are my GG grandparents.

You're great for finding these! All posted and thank you so much!

I hear you. Have you looked on the Campbell Co, Ky GenWeb site?
Maybe I can find out which Peter Brausch Lillian was married to.
First my husband & I have to do some snow removal. Got at least 3 inches new snow overnight and more predicted for the next several days.

Interesting that William Ellison is not listed as buried there. Wonder if he is in an unmarked grave there.

Sure would. Could you send me the ID number of her memorial. Makes it easier to do so.

So far, I have found Catherine's KY DC. States she was daughter of William Ellison & Mary Redmond. She is listed as born in Campbell Co, Ky; her parents birth place list as no record. I added this info to her findagrave memorial.

I added the info to his memorial. I will check to see if I can find a link of Catherine to Lillian.
