John Sylvester Dant
Sorry Samantha, I hit the wrong key. I had previously requested a transfer of Sylvester Dant # 55401188. He is my gg-grandfather, and I would love to be able to add information about him and his family. Is he in your direct line and are we related? If so let me know and I'll send you the info I have. Thanks - Bobbi

Mitchell Family
Thank you for your photos! Are you related to the Mitchell family? Many of my father's family members are buried in the New Palestine Cemetery, including his parents. I have enjoyed researching them. If you are not related, I would be happy to have those graves transferred to me.
Thank you,
Shelley Mitchell Hamann

Margaret Edmondson
Samantha - You helped me previously. I am looking for the burial of my great grandmother, Margaret Anne (Gough) Edmondson. I wonder if you could check those old local funeral home records to see if she could possibly be buried at Oaklawn Cemetery. She was living in Hattiesburg in 1900 and was listed as a widow then. She was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Robert Herman Hemphill and Margaret Anne (Edmondson) Hemphill. This daughter is buried at Oaklawn, but Margaret Edmondson may be buried some where in Lauderdale County. I think that is where he husband probably died.
I just made a picture request, but I have no idea whether Margaret Edmondson is buried here or not, OR the exact date of her death.
Maybe you have an E-Mail address or mailing address for the main library in Jackson, where all the records are kept.

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

Theodore Hill at Magnolia Cemetery

Three of us went to Magnolia and searched the entire cemetery. We could not find a marker for Theodore, but I found several other Hills.

Isabel Hill Montan
Katherine McPhail Hill
John Hill
John Hill, Jr.
Margaret Hill Carruth & husband Dr. Frank Carruth
John Hill, son of George Hill & Carrie Lee Taylor
Elizabeth Jones Hill
Carrie Lee Taylor Hill
George Hill

There is also a large Hill monument without any other names on it.

Please let me know if you'd like photos of any of these markers emailed to you.

RE: james williams glendale cemt.
Thank you so much it would be a miracle if you found him. I have worked so hard on this one person that I have not researched anyone else in over a year.

pine bluff request
Hi--do you know which part of cemetery the stone might be in? If its small that will help. The weather has been horrible--rainy and boggy--I will look when it clears uop a bit.
