I was born in Teaneck and raised in Palisades Park, Bergen County, New Jersey. Currently, I live in beautiful Hunterdon County. This place is truly "a little slice of heaven", nestled between two major American cities - New York and Philly. We boast of one of the last clean rivers in the East - the Delaware.|
For many years, I'm involved with genealogy and local history as a hobby. It's a rewarding journey and a great source of personal comfort in light of the loss of my loved ones. Before my interest, history was my least favorite academic subject... boring! Now, I have a renewed curiosity of what life was like for our ancestors. What was the political, cultural and social environment of their day? What daily struggles did they endure just to survive?
Our ancestors treaded lightly upon this earth, and may not have left much behind. They deserve to be remembered with honor. After all, they made us who we are today.
Please note: A simple "thank you" to a volunteer is always appropriate. It lets them know that their efforts to help you are appreciated.

Hi Beverly thanks so very much for the great photo. I thought I had asked for her husband but I guess I didn't. But I have now.

A very belated thank you for linking Lurana Purdy Creveling to her husband Hugh Irvin Creveling and for including their marriage information on her Memorial. Thank you also for taking the tie to place the lovely obituary on her Memorial.

Hi-I have to tell you what a great job you have done in capturing my brother in laws family in their gravestone pictures. I have been wanting to make the short trip to Alpha (where my own husband was born) and havent gotten there-I too am a graver and my body tells me when its a painful day to go out and take pics when you dont know locations of graves-so you just walk around!
Cant thank you enough for fam pics again, I do appreciate your time on these.

Yes, these are the same Kirbys you refer to. Reggie died young and Lizzie was the surviving child. She was always called Elizabeth because of confusion with her mother. They both had the name of Florence.
So do you have Kirbys in your line? I thought most of the lines were ended, but sounds like we may be cousins. Perhaps a common grandma somewhere?
I have not been able to find out a lot about the Kirbys but I have accumulated a small notebook for Elizabeth. We still own some Kirby items that have come down to us.
Thanks for looking and I am happy you found Elizabeth. She was a sweetheart.

Thank you ever so much for posting the original information on my Uncle: William E. Davison, Memorial# 45817892 and thank you for transferring it to me so that I can enter more family data and hopefully lure in some more cousins! Sincerely, Sandy in Sacramento, CA
Beverly you did a lot of work adding them. I do not feel right taking them. I am just happy they have memorials. I will send requests for linking and maiden names. Thanks again for all you did.

Daughter Elizabeth and her husband James Thorne Harle were living in Easton in 1930. I have no death dates for them .
Daughter Emily was married to a "Bliss". She died 1929. She may be there as her husband was married once before her.

I would appreciate that very much. I have the death date for his wife and most of his 12 children but could not verify where most are buried. Thank you so much for offering this to me.
