Let me start by saying, People that send me 300+ edits just because you are bored and have nothing else to do will be ignored. There is nothing wrong with the names I have added. Please find another hobby.|
I take pictures of every stone in the cemetery. Therefore I have no way of knowing if the person is still living. I mean no disrespect by adding them.
Everyone deserves to be recognized with a memorial. Please keep in mind that deaths are public record. Cemeteries are also public.
I will be more than happy to add family links. Please just send request through the edit on each memorial, instead of asking for transfers.
Findagrave is doing a great service for us and I appreciate it. So please, remember that we are all in this for the same reason. To help others and pay tribute to all those who have gone on before us.
Please do not ask for transfers if you are researching family surnames. That isnt fair to the actual descendants.
Please send a message through the edit, on each memorial. That way I can find the memorials quickly. If they are in my family tree at all, I may choose not to transfer them.

I just wanted to say thank you for your work in documenting Starks Cemetery. It was touching to be able to see my maternal grandparents' gravestones.

Thanks for your quick reply! It is good to know that it might be kept up.
I might have some pictures from that cemetery that my mother took.
|Elizabeth Slaughter||Slaughter Cemetary|
I'm writing you because you have entered several pictures from the Slaughter Cemetery. I have not been to the location since October 2008 when my mother passed away and I am wondering when those photos were taken and what the current state and accessibility is of the cemetery.
Historically, it has been somewhat neglected and I am wondering who is anyone is taking care of upkeep. The Cemetery is on land that belonged to my grandfather at one time. It was passed from him to my uncle, then my father, then my brother. I am unsure of the ownership now.

Could you e-mail me privately at email@example.com. You seem to have a lot of FindAGrave's for Futrell and Herndon families.

Thank you so much for the photos that you add to Find a Grave!! I would like to request permission to use photos that you have submitted. Winborn Futrell is an ancestor and I would like to use his picture in my database program and to share with family members.
Thank you again,
Linda Futrell Rogers

Remembering her reminds me of hand pumping water, outhouses and separate kitchen and eating area.
I even have a group family picture of her....
Send me a privateo email and I'll you about her. She lived with her brother, my grandfather and his wife, Leslie. The ladies wore the old pink cotton stockings.
Levy County is a rural county and the old farmers worked hard for very little money.
